  1. I see on other forums guys talking about the Supersede pick made in AU.

I tried to purchase one just to see what shipping would be, it says call us.

I have to admit they do look like, well made and nice picks.

They all so look a little heavy, more than I want to carry.

So would we be talking a three hundred dollar pick with shipping?

Replacement, blade or point..will they be around a year or two from now,??

Supersede Pick Blade Price AUD $80.00
Supersede Pick Point Large Price AUD $53.00

Supersede 750mm Medium Pick Price AUD $210.00
Supersede 900mm Large Pick Price AUD $220.00

    Ivan,

  2. Here is another Arizona forum. It is independent, not metal detector dealer sponsored-

    Is this .org  not .com

Don't like to say bad things about people or sites, but gota read

    this stuff on this club.

  3. Think some one had mentioned a pick holder or a way to carry these bigger

picks, this is what I am using, pretty simple to make.

4 inch abs pipe (pvc would work to) 6 inches long, cut two slots for belt

to fit through, 45 cut to reduce weight.  Wala... cheap, durable and

easy to slide pick in and out..

  4. I just been out side play with my new toy and although I could not ground balance it due to all the steel in the concrete So I set both GB knobs to around One O'clock flicked it in to low and I Max out the Gain and it did not warble or chirp it just stayed rock solid and I live in the city, and I bring it indoors and turn off the GB I can turn it up to the max in high or Low it won't make a sound, That's pretty impressive and They said on the Whites forum it should be able to see a Quarter over 12 inches, well I can pick out the signal at way past 12 inches, and .22 bullets are at insane depths.

John  how does the PRO compare to the SL.?   big difference.?  little difference.?

    Your thoughts?

  5. As most of you guys noticed I make and sell picks, this all came about from me making picks for myself and other detectorist wanting to know where they could get one.

So I would like to know,

    What are you using?

What do you like about it?

    What do you dislike?

    What handle length, inches?

How about a picture of your pick.

  6. I know one thing, doing the research  to find the stuff you want can be a pain in the butt.

  7. Yeah I don't know much about the northside of the goldfield, only driven in through the Greaterville Rd. a few times. Will have to do some exploring up there to see what's claimed and what isn't.

Have mostly just played around further south down by the GPAA and DGD claims.

Ivansgarage- just saw your website and the picks that you sell. Those look pretty nice. I'm always looking for a nice diggers pick. Everything for sale stateside is either too short, too long, too heavy, has too many magnets like the Apex Picks etc.

I recently bought a Walco Heavy Duty Large pick from Australia. Cost a pretty penny to ship here. Stuck a big 130 lb neodymium magnet on the head. Works pretty good. One of these days I may contact you to make something custom. I like picks with wide shovels on the back for digging and scraping.

Tortuga, anytime you want to come by and check out my picks (and bs) just drop me a email.

Sunday out at Greaterville, the grass and weeds have really been growing lately with

all the rain we have gotten, all most need a new detecting tool, a lawn mower.

  8. Had any luck down there? Spent about 6 hours out there today. Got some pretty good rain while I was out but no gold this time.

We should all meet up down there sometime and swap stories.

Next month should be some nice camping weather down there.

My buddy Lou and I were out there today we  were over by granite mountain on the north side. No nuggys.
