Racer, Gold Racer
I was pretty impressed with the revues on the new Racer any idea when the Gold Racer will hit the news? What will be the differences?

Hey Jasong Ya just look at the Deus it has a variable frequency that can be switched with one push of a button, just by adding diff programs.

Show Off.

I guess, less than the gpx 5000, 5200.00.
A better guess might be a dollar a pound.

God that is a pretty chunk of gold, your next interview will be with the tax man.

7.32 lbs doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me swinging that kind of weight. Did I hear someone whining a while back about tendinitis?
Lets see: digging one foot holes.
and swinging 7.32 pounds and 5k-7k cost?
Ill pass.

Steve,
I realize this is not the gold racer, but would still like to know how it does on gold.
Tom did not mention anything about gold. (gold is metal)
Dimes and nickels just don't thrill me.

azblackbird dam another great day on the Rokon, whens lunch?
6.44 on the video looks like that was a small water fall. (the glory hole?)
How about a good view of your gear on the Rokon, a walk around.

Nice photos at http://golddetecting.4umer.net/t20751-large-nugget-found-at-inglewood
Supposedly about 6" deep. There are still monsters out there you can find with anything if you can just get over them. And are smart enough to dig the giant "obviously junk" target!
Hey Steve, where is this Inglewood place? can't seem to find it on google earth.??

I recently acquired a through hole version of the TDI with the sole intent of modifying it to run the 8 uS pulse delay. Does anybody know the procedure for this? I will also need help in getting a coil to run properly with it as well. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Have you read this thread?

azblackbird What are you using for a video cam?
-
Ivan, that bike is called a Rokon. It's basically a modern day mule. It will carry just about anything you can throw on it. Will go just about anywhere you want to go, and the best of all... you don't have to feed or water it. Makes for the perfect prospecting vehicle.
The Rokons are slick machines, front wheel drive, two wheel drive.
Really cool.

Nice video, just what is that little bike your riding?
-
I hope someone is gonna video it and post it here.

I would still like to know, the smallest piece of nugget the x-pointer will detect?
This was the biggest nugget I had and it would not detect it.

Anybody ever hear about this treasure mate pointer? about 180 bucks...
The Treasure Mate Pinpointer is a small hand held super sensitive metal detector that can be used for pinpointing coin and relic targets or for gold prospecting. It is very light weighing, only 6 ounces, bet at 16.5 kHz it is sensitive enough to locate very small pieces of placer gold. Comes complete with a deluxe detector / target pouch and belt.
This is the pinpointer that is sensitive enough and equipped with circuitry to deal with harsh ground mineralization so that it can be used for gold prospecting. -
After reading a post from rumblefish he had asked the question?
"So I got to wondering, what is the minimum flake/nugget size that can be detected?
Could anyone with an SDC (or even a Pro Pointer) post and tell me their results?"
So I thought I would try a small nugget with the x-pointer, don't know the size of this nugget but the x-pointer would not detect it, Yes it was on level 4..

Removing Gold From The Country You Find It In?

I have a friend that travels over seas, and he has lost a lot of different stuff on the good old airlines.
Then he discovered it was better to ship his stuff FedX right to the Hotel and avoid all the hassle checking in on the airlines.
