Tell us your thoughts on why you think this is a meteorite, if you sent a sample to a lab you must have some reasons. I can not say it looks like a meteorite, but in this field it's almost always that way, can't be certain without certification. Good luck on your path.

Awesome Erik, your recovery and return style is noble indeed, but sometimes when someone is offering you something it is kind of rude in some cultures to deny them, i think some people want to show how much money does not matter to them compared to the ring, so if you do not accept what someone is offering then you might be missing the point. Just something to consider, i know you do this with a good heart, and are a good example for others, but i also like to see people get what they deserve, so next time you find a lost ring, don't worry about whatever someone else offers, just accept you deserve it and you are making them happy by doing what you do!! ht ??

No crack here, after almost 3 years i have only taken it in fresh water. Thanks again i was happy to check and find no cracks.

Not sure here, they don't look too special in the photo and the lack of nickel is also an issue. If they are true, i would say you found a strewn field, but first have you been able to grind a window to the inside ? I hope you found a new meteorite bro keep us updated, thanks for sharing.  ht

It does not look like a meteorite, holes are not usually found in meteorites, it looks like scoria from the train tracks. In other words it's a volcanic cinder.
