The scale I currently have is no longer working correctly, I wish I could say its broken from all the really heavy nuggets I weigh but the reality of it is, most of the gold I find is in the sub gram
category. Taking a look at the scales for sale on line I don't see any that stand out, so what are you using for your nuggets?

Fred you have no idea how hard it was to train him to follow you and fit a gps tracker on that tortoises. :)

Happy B-Day and good job on the nugget.

I shouldn't need a metal detector more gold has been found in my country town than anywhere in the world lol
Then it should be very easy to ask some near by you.

I am looking for a new flex link for the swing arm helper that broke from wear. Decided to check the Kellyco web site since no one seems to have that part listed and see that the gpz7000 is now listed on their site for $7999.00 US. http://www.kellycodetectors.com/catalog/gpz-7000

I have to say, Dr. Erik Melchiorre is a great speaker and has lots to say about gold and nuggets. Really hope he comes back in 6 months and brings his xrf gun. I learned a few things as well :)
He would like to hear from anyone who has found a 1 1/2 ounce or more nugget in the Quartzsite area. Seems like that is the biggest one he.s been able to document for a paper he writing on the area,

Has anyone heard the rumors about a new 20 inch coil for the Z due out in March?

Yes, the average digger has his credit cards paid off

Very Nice finds, and the Nugget is icing on the cake.

That's a nice one!

I don't have any video yet, but am working a patch with very flat thin 1/2 gram or so nuggets. They are located in the cracks in the schist and if I sweep the coil across the cracks its high-low. Sweeping the coil with the cracks its low-high until I move the nugget out of the crack and off its edge while digging. All of them so far have been very shallow at around 4 inches.

The correctly inflated footballs from the last Super Bowl. I knew someone would find them.

You can show us the dirty nugget, we will not mind I swear

There are a few different types of gold bug models, a regular "gold bug", a "gold bug 2", and a "gold bug pro", the coils are
not interchangeable between models. There is very little demand for the regular "gold bug" or its coils.

Azavsfan most of the Southern Calif beaches are visited by millions during the summer when the tides and surf are
mild, A good amount of all the lost items stay lost till the winter storms and low tides hit just right.
