Fist off Im new to this forum stuff.. I'm from San Diego, Calif...So far, I am enjoying the VX3 more and more each time I use it. It has a friendly learning curve that you'll have to get familiar with and time is what it takes. I'm coming from a MX5 & a MXT Pro and this VX3 is becoming the desired favorite. 3 frequencies to use at once or choose from any one of the 3. The offset feature works well. Still using the stock 9.5 eclipse coil which seems to be working just fine & I do have a 10" DD standing by ready for service. Give it time and once you learn the VX3 you will wonder if you might want the V3i. So far the VX3 is more than enough and I look forward to some fun days ahead. Too bad White's closed their doors. (WHO CAN I TRUST TO REPAIR MY BABIES).... Now is the time for me to get a spare MXT All Pro & a V3i and store them in case one of my favorite "toys" breaks on me. Maybe a spare new in the box MX5. I will say my MX5 can hang with my MXT Pro and VX3 so don't hesitate on a MX5 if you have the chance to acquire one. IM NOT KIDDING ABOUT THE MX5. But the VX3, and I'm sure that in the right hands the V3i one AMAZING machine of science. Broke my heart to hear that Whites closed there doors since recently I have come to understand that all GOOD things must come to an end except for the ONE. Good health and good strength to all my fellow detectorist and hope you all find that special find. I JUST WANT TO FIND OLD COINS. Rings of course would be a compliment. HOWEVER, I love history and want OLD COINS or relics to hold in hand and think of what the past must have been like. Happy New Year to you all and God bless us all. BUT THE VX3 IS MY NEW OPTIMISTIC DETECTOR of JOY. JUST NEED A TALLER DIGGING TOOL AND TO GROW THE GUTS I NEED TO ASK STRANGERS "CAN I DIG HOLE IN YOUR BEAUTIFUL LAWN" Future detector UNIT'S on my IMMEDIATE LIST TO AQUIRE Whites TDI sl and a Whites V3i (the "i" stands for intimidation) and maybe that new gold hunting VLF UNIT that they just brought out to the world. If your in San Diego or So Cal and need someone to detect with just say so cause I'm ready and if your just traveling thru y'all can always use my detectors.
