Agree but I do think it's a backwards step. The Wmo8 was a great feature

Just a thought wondering if Steve would open up a survey so that we can make our feelings known regarding not being able to use wireless after market headphones. Knowing that Minelab take note of comments on certain forums may help us in the long run. What do you think ?

Yep must say disappointed with the headphone situation I use the wmo8 with an a very short 8 inch cable which I attach to my chosen over ear headphones. I have hearing loss in one ear. So my headphones have volume control on each cup. Do not like using long cable connection to the pod. So I will see what solution I can come up with.

Price for Equinox 900 in UK advertised as £1099

Have noted the user manual for the 900 appears to have an error regarding sensitivity as it states in places 0 - 25 it should be 0 - 28

Well then just use your Equinox...why bother with the Beast?
strick
Because we are being told it is an improvement on the Equinox. More TID numbers and poly something or other sounds enabling you to hear dual target responses. So the machine is not all about 2d mapping. If it is then yes the nox is good enough for me no problems with that

For me I would have liked the option to be able to turn off the 2d mapping definitely not a fan.

Isn't that the place where all the old people move to? I just get images of wrinkled up old prunes laying around on the beach in their budgie smugglers when I think of Florida. 🤣
Bang out of order and disrespectful, not needed on this website.

Well, I'm now in queue for a Mandible, and also all of it's coils. Let the painful wait begin 🙂
Wow now that is a big leap of faith I hope it lives up to your expectations

Tend to agree with a few of the comments CD made in his video posted on the 30.9.22 "Manticore why I'm not excited".
As with my Equinox its tones first then a quick peak at the numbers I do not need to analyze the screen so this is not a selling point for me. What do you guys think ? I watch my mate analyzing his CTX screen whilst we are out detecting, he takes ages I would have dug it and moved on if its that iffy.

Not impressed with the charge time of 7hrs ! and the run time of 9 hrs is not helpful especially here in the UK. Camping at 4 day Rallies is going to cause concerns especially in the summer where you have the option to detect for 12 hrs. My Equinox runs for 12 hrs and charges in 4 allowing me to use a power bank.

A roman iron slag from smelting. Very highly mineralized! Some information about these bad things: https://glevumdetecting.com/history/roman_iron_making.htm
Back here we have some good areas full of these things!
Thx that was a great demonstration and it has enhanced my appreciation of what tone breaks can do. Very interesting and I will be testing this out in the UK. I feel I will find more hammered coins in soft plough and mineralised ground using a minus 1 tone break.

Was hoping the new headphones had volume control on each ear cup that would have helped you and I out in the hearing department.
