Nice find,  Tarsacci is great on thin silver coins or worn out buttons.

I use 18k mode when relic hunting, tends to enhance signal on worn thin silver coins, 1/2 dimes and worn silver reales. Conductively is lower on older small silver coins or brass buttons, Especially the tiny ones.  18k will enhance these signals, give it a try.

    Congratulations!

I’ll be in a colonial field tomorrow and I’ll run it in 18k.  This field has produced cut silver for a few of us.  Thanks!

    • Today I went to a site that I was trying to find the rest of a “Civil War gold corps badge”, I found part of it a few months ago with my DEUS....thinking that if any machine will find the rest of it the Tarsacci will find it.
    • The target separation with that 12 inch coil is pretty awesome!  But, it didn’t happen.  Not today anyways.  But I was in the area we gridded and the tarsacci was hitting some very deep brass and under the iron, that just keeps impressing me about this machine! I know one of the targets was at least 15 inches!

I will have to get a new shovel if this keeps up! I think Dimitar needs to include a taller shovel with every sale of the “Tarsacci”!!

No Silver yet with the tarsacci, but I know thats coming!

Good informative video Aaron, a reminder for those not familiar with older silver coins or buttons having lower conductively. Here on West Coast,  some of the reales I’ve dug over the years conductively vary especially the tiny 1/4 reales. Deep old worn thin sliver will is hard to get especially masked by iron, shifting to higher kHz helps enhance the signal on these small worn coins or small buttons with lower conductivity.

With the Tarsacci, I’m after these smaller worn out coins and buttons. Always hunt with 18k setting, coupled with the 12” coil it’s extremely deep.

I can’t get the myself to use Disc mode, the audio mostly steers me away. Mix mode is terrific for my type of hunting, maybe on my next hunt will try Disc mode and give it a fair amount of time.

    Good informative video Aaron,

I have dug plenty of Spanish Coins and cobs in my colonial sites here in Virginia with the deus,   I am looking forward to finding some silver with the Tarsacci.

I’m not sure about stability however from what I’m seeing and feedback I’m getting the 12” BEAST coil seems to be better at separation in trash than the stock coil....

I dug a colonial spot last week in iron and pulled 9 buttons with the 12 inch coil. It’s a great set up.

Nah. Glad to see colonial artifacts. I'm in NE VA. 🙂 Chase has been using a Tarsacci here, really nice machine. Your finds just look so... familiar. Bet there are some backmarks on those buttons. Farmers are going to kick me out of the fields soon, going to have to hit the river, and some other waterfront.

Here in Virginia you would be hard pressed to even find a plow. No one plows their fields anymore.

My detecting buddy and I were out last week and he found 2 at that hunt!

How ya liking the larger coil? Thinking about getting one for the beach to cover more ground...

It definitely covers the ground.  I don’t beach hunt. (Much). More in the fields, and the 12 inch coil had no issues in iron, I was hearing the good targets!  I haven’t put the stock coil on yet to try it out.  But I plan to soon.
