Just a note checked a lot of these coin targets in Relic and most all came in 2 numbers lower across the board except the silver which came in about 2 or3 higher Tdi.

Wife found all of this in a 4x4 foot area, believe there was 33 rim fire casing , the arrowhead, mouth harp, general service button.

Yep I couldnt believe it , had a peace dollar and had to go back in and get a Morgan to recheck! Both the same as a merc dime!

Vdi numbers laying on top of mild ground GB 87. Doesn't mean anything just a reference,

When I tested it on the open gold hoop 14 fast 40 and gold modes is all that would hit it well in stock settings.

Had to check this out myself,  small hoop gold.    Stock settings,,,,,,, Closed D2 would hit it in all modes, open it couldnt see it at all without rubbing on it Except in gold mode and the new program 14,,,, vdi 28-31,,, .  Same with 11 inch and 9 inch coil.   So took nox800 same way stock settings. 800 hit well closed in all modes vdi 1,,,,,, open hoop and no see ems ,nothing in any mode except gold and park 2...     hmmmmmmmmm.

Wife and I were hunting side by side her with Deus 2 and I with nox 800 all afternoon. Her not knowing the vdi numbers on her new unit would have me check them with nox. Never had any issues, some of the targets were deep such as a small  d- buckle around 8 to 10 inches. Dont remember what # she was coming up with but was hitting nox at 24-26.  Checking back and forth both hitting it solid and we were side by side.  We did this several times and neither detector ever blanked out.  Maybe just lucky and will have to keep a watch on it but so far no problems.

I have hunted most of my life, my wife started 4 years ago. I always find lots of stuff but from the very beginning 90 percent of the time she comes up with a great find or bucket lister! I just shake my head.

Deus 11 showed up today! Wife has her new detector !

For those wanting to know the second shipment could make it in 2 weeks or so if everything goes right. Sounds like second shipment will be a bit bigger but still not large enough to fill all preorders.

Not from xp just from our dealer we preordered from' hope he is wrong!

At least this way we will be doing a lot of comparisons to my nox 800.  Possibly even learn a thing or two.

My wife's brand new 800 on/off button wouldnt work when she received it. So very possible just sticking.

I feel it is just a personal preference. On the beaches  down here my wife likes 5 tone and I always use 50 tone. In the dry sand we both like park 2 ,seems we have much better response to small gold, But of course in wet sand or in the surf you have to use beach modes to handle the salt. Beach 2 works best for us.  Usually dig most everything with a solid beep , except when I get lazy and then no dig 14s and 1s . Sure I miss something good once in a while but the trade off of 1000 trash targets justifies it for me.
