So could you train it on a specific small square of geology where you know gold to be, and have it find similar

Many find more, many find less. Few wish to divulge

I also have one of these which add extra shielding, many thought they're a gimmick but they're not, they do genuinely work, I did connect a wire from it to the shield by a screw terminal though, they don't mention you need to do this and you just put it on as a cover but it's the best way to connect it to the ground of the detector for best results.
I have one of these too and they make a big difference. The other large difference was moving away from the big brick battery to lithium RC batteries. Once you get rid of the battery amplifier it is a whole lot quieter and you can run much hotter, which means better depth and higher stability setting

You cant go wrong with the NF evolution series coils. Great depth on small stuff

Hey Redz, Can you tell me more about the "hybrid satelite topo options". I don't believe that I have used this feature and would like to know how to enable it.
Under the map layer options there is USA: TOPO MAPS and USA: IMAGERY. Under the IMAGERY there are a number of maps labelled hybrid that combine base map features with imagery (roads towns etc) and some that give a better idea of contours

Back country navigator pro has around 9 topo map options and several hybrid satelite topo options. You can also download the property boundaries as an add on.

Nice rotten quartz...and good gold. Thanks for sharing

comment ont-ils pu trouver la certification ISO
If you look up the certification it is for quality management i.e. how they control the build quality, not how well it performs doing a task. Anyone in any industry can get that.
There is no ISO certification for detecting gold.
In fact I am not aware of any known physics in a portable detector that can detect small pieces of gold at that depth because the signal decays exponentially. The amount of transmission power to detect 45m...not sure I want that next to my body

I have experience with Minelab 4500, 7000 and Garrett but i'm not satisfied with the depth.
I am afraid that is where your digging team comes in. Go where you have found a lot of gold and have them dig down a foot and detect again

That will be difficult since the devices you mention do not work. There is a wealth of information here on devices that do work.

Nice score! Any pictures of the gold?

Put a 26 inch handle on your pick and dont kneel down.

In todays internet age I wonder if high resolution photos would not educate people more than the physical object. After all I have just learnt about a hooded garment and licking dog much more easily from my own couch. Who knew they existed before?

Most important in my view is only do it for as long as they are interested and having fun. Sure fire way to kill their interest is to keep them there for hours when they dont want to be there. My boys were good for an hour or so. Reserve your spot you cant fail for their outing.

Nice copper mineralization. Hard to tell from picture but could be polymetallic with lead, silver, maybe a little gold

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but if it were me I would take it all off, as it is not that pretty. Worst that can happen is you end up with a little smaller piece and melted button. Looks pretty connected from pictures

To me the more telling part is that the entire population of Australia (25) fits into greater Los Angeles (18.7) and the Bay Area (7.7)

Wow. What a beauty!...certainly looks a bit more than a subgrammer 🙂

I just use the E6000 glue from home depot and 1.5 mm polycarbonate. Works well and have no issues with the polycarbonate detaching for about a year of use

Any CC or DD coil can function as both PI or VLF, provided both sides of the circuitry matched the specs of the coil. Mono's cannot work though coz VLF (Induction Balance) needs two coil windings for transmit and receive.
Doesn't this argue for a DoD coil like the GPZ?

My guess 0.225

Interesting privacy claim, when property ownership is a matter of public record. All these claims are filed at the county level too, where they are listed by name. Are they going to remove names on everyones house ownership too?
-
My understanding is the federal government is required to go through a process of stakeholder consultation in decision making, at least in rule making, but I think more broadly. It would seem this violates due process.
-
It is unfortunate, as deleting the names makes it more difficult to contact claim owners, and more difficult to demonstrate you own the claim to others on your claim. Personally looking at the historical claims is useful.
I wonder how much actual consultation with stakeholders they did? Does this even feature in their decision making?

Be careful of the temperatures for the next few months. They kill seasoned desert folk every year, including a couple of people i knew in last couple of years alone.
