  1. Well I haven't watched much of his vids so can say if he's a drama queen or not 🤣🤣. From what he says himself in this video seems to be just pretty much straight forward unbiased news. Sounds like you have a bit of insider news yourself so ill take your good word for it that is nothing to worry about. I would much rather look at the positive side of things. I don't mind a delay for a better product vs problems. In the end will make the Legend a stronger product.

Everyone is all about “more depth” and so big coils sell. I’m more about separation and smaller stuff, and in general with me it is “VLF for smaller coils, PI for larger coils.”

Yup I'm the same way. I've also found the 9" coils to be plenty deep. I certainly understand the need for the extra depth.

  3. I understand that completely Steve. I'll try and keep this post updated as I get information from my distributor. I'll know more after the first shipment to see how things play out as far as how many I receive. Here's the hard cold facts. First shipment- keep in my this is just one distributor and I'm sure XP sent similar numbers to the other distributors. I was told 120 11" packages

20 9" packages. Did other distributors receive the same or more 9" vs 11" I cant say. I'm sure they recieved the same amount total machines or very close. From my understanding sounds like XP is producing more 11" packages. Will the second and third shipments be the same? Idk yet but I hope not. I've always sold more 9" packages of deus1 and so far same goes for Deus2  orders. That could just be me cause that's what I have always recommended and pushed more. I've always loved the weight and balance with 9" coils vs 11". If anyone has any questions or wants to preorder the Deus2 please pm me or email, call or text be glad to help.

  4. The greatly anticipated USA arrival of XP’s new detector, the DEUS II, is still several weeks away!  Although the DEUS II was first released back in mid-December in the European Union countries (EU preferential origin), specifically France, Germany, etc, they have only just arrived in the UK this past week for dealer distribution.

For us “across the pond”, the first limited allocation shipment is planned to be air freighted to the USA late this next week and after import/customs processing and shipping to XP’s USA distributors, it could take two weeks, to as much as three, to get them to dealers and their customers.

Please keep in mind, these first shipments are limited in numbers so most of the dealers that submitted their orders by November 6, 2021, may only receive 1 to 3 units as XP and the USA distributors are striving to fairly share their limited availability across the USA. However, the good news is XP is assuring that the USA will have the top priority for the sending of the 2nd and 3rd allocations of DEUS II.

In the meantime, following is the link for the XP DEUS II manual.  It is well written and will be helpful when the DEUS II arrive.

Incidentally, there were some USA DEUS II YouTube’rs/testers that thought the DEUS II USA shipments were already in the air and arriving in the USA by this past Friday.  However, the XPLORER manufacturing facility and headquarters in Toulouse, France, confirmed that this was not true and just wishful thinking.

Also of interest, XP testers and/or YouTube’rs got pre-regular production versions of the
DEUS II with version 5 software. The DEUS II that will be shipped to the USA will have the newer version 6. The DEUS II , its coil, remote control, WS6 headphones are all designed to have their software updated online!

Even if in Europe the machine will be available sooner, due to the factory position advantage, there's no trace of a confirmed load among official dealers.

I'm still waiting for an answer even for the final price with a BH01 headphone not to mention that I'm under spotlights in Italy cause I make digital contents for them.

    It's a crap.

Looks like the bone phones will be $69.90 here in the US not sure where that puts you at in Europe.

  6. I liked the video man. Keeping it real just grabbing stuff you found already and testing it. Seems strange that the one silver type ring it wouldn't hit at all? Was that a actual silver ring or something else? Also seems strange that the big 11" coil had such a hard time with that large coat button with the clip on it. I've never tried any of my machines with one of those clips, prob the same effect as a nail and the down the barrel test that most machines wont pass with a normal nail. The fact that it wont see that ring at all has me a bit concerned.

  7. Thousands of DEUS II leaving the factory this week!
Despite the massive supply shortage this year we managed to be on time with our deliveries. Thanks to our foresight strategy and manufacturing being made in Toulouse, France, we are keeping control of our production and we are able to send over these new detectors this week.
XP will always give its very best to serve your passion, keeping innovation as our course and moving towards 2022 with lots of new projects. We would like to thank all XP users around the world and wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year 2022! 🎉

  8. Steve I couldn't agree more with what you said, well said my friend. I also watched and listened to what Dilek had to say regarding testers and shipping. IF was my decision based on feedback from a few testers I would get the machines shipped and stand by my word of shipping in December and let the majority decide on the little update changes. Especially being nokta/makro can easily put out updates. I say let the majority decide and stand by your shipping in Dec that you already said would happen. Thats just me and my opinion. I also must say I love the fact XP came out in the last video and only compared the Deus1 vs Deus2, no drama, no negative energy towards other manufacturers. To me that is pure professionalism from XP. I also have to come out and thank Calabash digger for working hard and getting us some awesome vids with Deus2. That man has earned his machine in my opinion. XP made a wise decision sending him one to test. Thanks Cal buddy sold a few more machines thanks to your vids buddy you da man! Im sure Garys vids also helped, he does a amazing job also.
