Thankyou all.
Already back in Europe so my days of posting gold finds will not be there for a while, but finds in coins and treasures will increase tenfolds.

Well done.Wow .exciting to find a first nugget.
Now its will be all much easier.
I think i will invent this saying and say whoever detect and doesn't find a gold with 2300 something is wrong with him/her.
Slow, listen all little sounds and collect.
Good luck

Was was getting excited until you wrote trash.
Well yes we all been there and dig some massive holes. Pin pointer is worth gold itself.
Its good to hear you persist with 19 as many are not really happy with this coil.
I personally dont have 7000 but would love to see some nice deep nuggets.
Hopefully next time you come with happier ending.
Great detect to that depth.

Very nice Steve.
Seems 20 grams is your benchmark.

Welcome to the forum.
I agree with Phoenix.(gpx is better choice with DD coil)
As in gold detecting many detectors and coils are suited better and perform better( depend of many factors in goldfields.)
Last few months (being in Europe) i have been detecting with a few different detectors.
I am used to operate with gpx detectors. In Europe i prefer treasure detectors.( have few: ctx3030, garett AT pro, BLISSTOOL,.
I prefer to use treasure detectors due to their discrimination capability. Using gpx in ok but you are going to dig all day.
Have fun and stay away from archaeological sites :)
