Well I tried my new wireless earphones[MPOW judge model MPBH083AB] and I was able to pair it with the equinox. I didn't notice any latency problems at all. I did notice the tones sounded a little different but other than that it seems to be ok. I do not believe these are the LL version. I will try it on a hunt and see if it still seems to work ok. fair enough, I actually hadn't even thought about using them for my equinox as I bought them for my phone. I'll try to pair them with my detector and if successful [or not] I'll let you know. Brent

there are numerous APTX wireless and waterproof earphones on the market. I just purchased a set on Amazon that were under $30
