Really nice to hear your story thanks for sharing, its great that a family can enjoy a hobby together and especially when it gets the kids off the game consoles that's a big bonus.

I have to wonder sometimes do they really find this stuff because that is his 47th ring for the year !!!. mmm

Really nice finds, looks like a nice collection well done

This is a problem for me also, It is so loud for my ears and really hurts them on big targets. I like to use the function but most times I don't as it nearly blows my eardrums off. The one thing I did try was taking the headphones off when pinpointing but its not a very good solution. Its the one thing I don't like, just wish I could turn it down as the pinpoint is very accurate.

For now, my one gripe is that the 600's backlighting is way too bright, but that can be addressed with a piece of red film.
You little ripper thanks for the idea Dubious, that is one way of turning it down

Pretty prolific ring finder, 24 so far this year (1 ring every 3 or so days)
he was obviously doing pretty well before the equinox was released as well
Just noticed that's 40 rings for the year if there signature is accurate (24 gold,16 silver) wow, that's an incredible amount of rings...must hunt 24/7.
