Last Monday I thought I’d ry out my new waterproof GoPro 8 Black at the lake, and ended up leaking, so much for being water proof. 😡 So anyway I ended loosing my video. I ended finding a nice old gold signet ring, not too deep, and a big tungsten, alotta clad, some aluminum ect. That tungsten ring was DEEEEEP! The guy who lost it must been a big dude, it’s a big ring. Those crummy rings are so heavy it’s no wonder their always at least a foot deep! Check out the link for more pics.https://forums.tarsaccisales.com/forum/5/last-mondaysome-gold-and-tungsten
Thanks looking....Aaron

I don’t take it as a slam on Equinox. I see no glory in the Tarsacci doing as well as a detector that costs half as much. Anyone laying out twice the cash would probably expect to get something for the money.
Yes however, the Equinox is the machine that the Tarsacci is constantly being compared too. Dave is just providing them what they’ve been asking for.

Great video Dave, very well explained. Appreciate you going over the settings!
Well done mate!

The purpose of the test was to show the Tarsacci could show the difference between 2 targets at the same VDI range, (foil/gold), which it does. The nickel is obviously a higher conductor.

Great job Dave, you learn FAST!
Try bumping the SB up to 43-45, let me know how you do... -

CONGRATS! -
Very nice Dave, you’ve caught on QUICK!

Excellent Dave, you’ve performed the salinity balance flawlessly!

Here’s another example a even more deceptive sounding crown cap. Now, it wouldn’t have sounded this good if I wasn’t only in -15. I’m usually always in -30 when there’s iron around. And keep something in mind, unlike your standard VLF’s which lose depth and targets with high discrimination, that is NOT the case the Multi Domain Technology.....
-
Looking forward to it Dave, get comfortable w the controls, and LEARN that salinity balance!

Sometimes rusty caps can really fool you, however there usually tell tall signs. A lot of caps come in at quarter range (23-25). The audio may also sound pretty good though it’s never going to be that sweet high tone, however you may still be tempted to dig it. In this video I am hunting in very low minerals (560), the Tarsacci always works better in higher minerals. In this low mineralized dirt, you can try every trick in the book, whipping and raising the coil, the crown cap is still going to sound good, though there will be tell tale signs like iron wrap around high end numbers. So try this...switch your frequency to 6.4 and then whip the coil, the audio really changes! Check out the video demo...
Thanks!

No problem Dave!
Yes, the salinity is the heart of the Tarsacci. We will be working w you to get it dailed in ASAP, especially so you can work around that ancient iron and coke!
FYI....your unit shipped today!
