It also doesn't apply to panning at all. Gold panning isn't going away under any circumstances.

Gosh you never know, it might even have been that no-one ever dismissed it as junk because no-one ever walked over it before, and instead of wandering, maybe it was a guy, really plugged into his Nox, who found it with skill and persistence. Maybe…haha

Oh please…just my uninformed opinion but: if this thing worked, you would have had to get in line to find one - news of something that works in this field travels at the speed of light. And 45 meters in depth? Does it come with an excavator?

I'd be lying if I said I have filled in every hole…there are times I have left them unfilled so I can see where I have been, and then go back and fill them in all at once. There have also been times when I just didn't fill the hole in and I am not proud of it. But, most times I fill them in and always feel better when I do.

That is hands down the best mining and prospecting outlet I've ever seen and far beyond anything I could have imagined. I especially love the variety of dredging equipment. It's been a long time since I was dredging and I miss it every day.

I wonder if others also notice that swinging (s l o w l y) twice over the same sweep area, many times brightens up what is an "iffy" signal on the first swing. I have found this to be true enough times to make it something I do as a matter of course when I'm in an area that requires careful detecting.

I did not realize the extent of the catastrophic flooding that has befallen Australia.
Here in California we can identify with some of your problems, but like most everything else in the country, yours is bigger.

A fall with a Hermit Pick is not advised. At least have it in your hand as you detect so you can jettison 

if you lose your balance. I speak from experience and no, I wouldn't trade the Hermit Pick for any other make.

Same with the 7000 and the HipStick, they are the simply the best in their category at the moment.
