I've got a video up showing the user interface in detail and cover most of the settings.

The Algo Force E1500 seems to be a very user-friendly detector even for the beginner.

I like that it has a well thought out menu screen with many features that most PI users can benefit from or always wish they had.

Thanks Nenad for taking the time to put this great learning video together.

My favorite features are the left and right low/high tone bars for visually seeing the normal and inverted signals and the target conductivity ID pinpoint option, both could help in determining and helping to identify rubbish.

The mic to headset option is great for hearing the rattlesnakes.

Also glad the threshold pitch and noise frequency manual option is added on the menu like the GPX/Z legacy detectors had.

I noticed all the coil preset options our Nugget Finder’s offered coil sizes. 😄

By the way, it's great with EMI, I can run it in my house, even next to my high-powered router and it's fine, a little chirpy but remarkably stable.  It has nice audio, a stable threshold and a screen that's super easy to see in the sun.

Everyone will enjoy this feature, especially the beach hunters.

Left field... What are the chances the E1500 has a deep gold sibling? Or programmable update?

That seems very possible since they already have a detector platform started they could just add the different timings needed and a counter weight on it for balancing out the larger coils. Might go over 4 pounds though😉

The 14x9" Evo I used briefly in the field and tested on a few targets, and it seemed a very nice compromise between the 12" round and 12x8" Evos.

    Nenad,

thanks for putting all this together, very informative and interesting.

Would you recommend that the 14x9”Evo is a good all around coil option for this detector and its timings considering the ground conditions you detect in there.

So is the 5000 discontinued, and just selling new old stock!?

Or just not being sold US and low production?

    Anyone got a definite please?

    Dave.

The North America has sold all their inventory on the GPX 5000 with no replacements coming. Aussies our selling a one coil option package now, but someone on this forum mentioned once they are gone no replacement there also.

    Interesting,

Any info on Price and Availability in the U.S.A.?

Nice to see someone thinking at least a little out of the box, if performance is competitive, and it can use legacy coils it could be a winner if at a good price, and it sounds like they are trying to keep price down, NOW THAT is Different.!

Aussie is around $2,275, so hopefully around $1,500 U.S…

They still need to get FCC approval in the U.S. , so might be a while. The few reviews that I’ve heard so far are pretty good, so might be a shortage due to demand and great value.

Don't care if I go weeks without a colour, but get a buzz when I dig something worth the effort.

Our bigger bit patches would be worth going back to if we could just get a newer refined timing on the GPZ/GPX series, just needing a little more depth and these areas could be worth while again.

They could just release bigger coils for the 7000, it works really well with bigger coils than they've produced.  Even their approved aftermarket coils tap out at 17x13", when the stock coil is 14x13' so it's not really much to add, the 19" heavy thing being their best bigger deep gold coil, they could lighten that up significantly to make it more appealing.  There is plenty they could do, instead they'll just try prevent others from doing it even when they have no intentions of doing so.

It’s truly amazing that Minelab has put the GPZ replacement on hold for so long. The longer they wait the more money there losing, especially when everyone is able to buy non Minelab approved coils for the GPZ 7000.

Just release the GPZ replacement with the coils people want and then they can call it their true flagship detector.

Here in Oz the 7 is a great machine. But to many the 5000 has not been surpassed especially with the newer gen coils. Dont be fooled by the fine gold mode, id have named it with the new flats the "freak gold mode".

After reading your post I went back and added the 5000 because I agree it’s an amazing detector especially for deep solid bits.

You would think Minelab would not let this legacy go unless they have a replacement coming soon,. Maybe, once they empty there Aussie warehouse of their last 5000, surprise the new release is here.

I'm not all that interested in the really small stuff under .10 grams

That’s going to add a lot of small pellets to the daily count for sure, I might lower sensitivity a bit to avoid this problem though 😀

What I really like is this detector adds the user control options I liked on the GPX 5000 including coil options and then morphs into a somewhat mix of GPX 6000 / Equinox for sensitivity.

I am also looking forward to see what it can do on a 1 gram piece, anything larger than this, I have the option to use my deeper punching detectors.

On another note, I've seen a report elsewhere now whereby a guy tested his newly arrived Algoforce on an 0.01 of a gram nugget with the 12x8" NF EVO,

Wow! That’s must be a record for a PI detector. My PI record has been 0.025 gram and it had to be just the right shape too. To my knowledge only a VLF in low mineralized ground has been able to do that small of a speck.

The target ID if able to pick it up must of been a 1

I guess we our seeing a new era in pulse induction, glad it happening in my lifetime, was losing hope till now.

  12. Really hoping this E1500 has a stable conductivity target ID, have always wanted this feature on a PI. I can hear at the most probably 8 variations in tones on a PI which would be like running an equinox with a broken LCD screen. I usually dig everything until about quitting time, so would be still a great feature when I’m tired and only select digging targets.
Smooth timings have allowed mono coils to dominate most ground types, but with all detectors EMI is what can really hinder performance, hopefully they can get mono’s to handle emi better like the 6000’s Exceed series.

Bruce Candy even had to start somewhere and promote the original concepts and look where we are at now.

It is not a deep machine. If you want depth on a budget, get a S/H 4500 or 5000 with a 20" mono or 25" DD. If you want to find small gold as well as specimens and reefy gold, then the AlgoForce E1500 is worth a look.

I really like the fact that the E1500 and a s/h 4500/5000 would probably be less expensive than a new SDC or a new Axiom.

HavIng both these detectors working together over a patch with their interchangeable coils is an outstanding option for covering most gold types and still retaining depth on more solid bits.

Hopefully the FCC goes quickly for the U.S., really looking forward to testing one out.

Both VLF and PI metal detectors come with their own array of advantages and limitations. The choice between the two hinges on the user's specific requirements and budget. The AlgoForce E1500 bridges the gap, offering a high performance, cost effective PI alternative for users seeking a detector that combines VLF's sensitivity to small nuggets and fine jewellery, but with a Pulse Induction detectors ability to detect in mineralised soils and on beaches.

Works very well with Nugget Finder Evolution coils, but other recommended coils include: Minelab 8" Commander Mono, Detech 8" Mono, and older Nugget Finder advantage 12x7" Mono etc. *Not compatible with DD coils.

Sure checks a lot of boxes, finally priced at what will open the market to most buyers.

perfect timing as the GPX 5000 is not available in the market here anymore.
