Those were the good ol days of Garrett mate , we had a fantastic little Garrett distributor in the 80's here in south oz as well ,some in this forum were not even around prospecting then pfffft Garrett Australia doesn't even come close . Says it all!

👏 Bingo! Tony ,you have totally nailed it. For those of you that remember life before the subsidary company in Australia! Now don't go getting on your high horses 🙄 i cant say enough good things about Garrett USA (just for the record) whom i have dealt with personally, but that was long before Garrett Australia . Anyway perhaps Garrett here in ozz are relying too much on past loyalty which was really earned by the parent company in the u.s. anyway and they (Garrett Australia) are cashing in on this? fwiw I think Garrett have pulled one out of the bag with this detector and just in time too! Will watch and wait with bated breath!

A little thing called GST (goods and services tax) if you can get Garrett Australia to come down from their ivory towers then maybe they can give a breakdown of the leftovers ! We're screwed!

Well ,being a long time Garrett user, swinging garrett deepseekers in the goldfields in the 80's when there was absolutely no one around , and remaining loyal to Garret all these years but lately thats been tested with the advent of minelabs new machines , now i have been saved by the Axiom and just in time 😌 I definitely want one ,but i think i may wait for the dust to settle first before i go on a fire sale! Question to Steve Herschbach , will there be any more refinements made to the Axiom before release depending on how your field tests go ? or is what you have in your hands the final version ? Also i hope it works as well as the Apex for the beach salt water environment! fwiw
