I had always wondered if one reason XP were slow to produce a multi-freq machine was the issues with fitting it 'all in the coil' and wirelessly connecting everything. Brute-Forcing square signals onto a search-coil is a big power-consumer, and the subsequent processing of the signal is also a power-user, and would require more physical electronics parts than the regular Deus coils. So then you would need a bigger battery. It all starts looking like the coil would be full of battery/electronics. A wired solution is the sensible option in this case.
I'm wondering if this MF Deus runs a wired coil permanently, BUT, it is backwards-compatible with the current line-up of standard Deus wireless coils. It's technically easy, all the micro brains, LCD screen, buttons etc are all going to be there for the MF functions , and the signal-processing for the single-freq Deus is pretty simple compared to what would be required for an MF machine.I dont think it will fit with the other coils.
I read it somewhere on a French forum

I was a Whites user until I bought a Fisher CZ 6a in about 1992 I believe. Minelab came out with the Sovereign in 1991 but I didn't know anything about Minelab, so I chose the Fisher. I was mainly a beach and park hunter at the time so the Fisher CZ fit the bill perfectly (the thing loved deep nails though). My Dad however, purchased both the Minelab Sovereign and Fisher CZ 6a shortly after I bought the CZ. We soon found out the Sovereign out performed the CZ in almost every aspect except target separation. So I bought a Sovereign myself about a year later and the CZ sat in the closet at home.
So since 1991 the CZ series has changed very little and they are just now discontinuing it in 2021. 30 years, not a bad run but at the same time look at Minelab and what they have done with simultaneous multi frequency over the same 30 years. And yea they have literally put a few companies out of business.
Is there a market for the CZ in a new box with rechargeable batteries, wireless headphones and waterproof? Maybe, but at this point it would seem more like a move in desperation rather than innovation.
More like a Tarsacci....😀😀😀

You have to admit in the last 4/5 years we have spoiled for choice,Nox,tarsacci plus all the Nokta/makro.More Versatability or Cheaper
Just my 2 cents i think Fisher should take a different approach than the guerilla one they did with the Impulse .
I m not pro Minelab but they did an smashing job with their Nox marketing and Vanquish, and so is Makro/nokta.
The futur i think will be more Gold models, and beach machines, inland for relics we may have reached the limits...

Being that there were 2 bowls in the "sealed" container, it's very possible that IF there are ashes in the bowls that it could be a couple interned together!!
The question of what is in the bowls needs to be answered, IMHO!!
yes was thinking the same RIP

Very nice, was talking about drones with a few mates of mine at work who took the plunge...........
One thing that striked me in Oz is the 1000s and 1000s of holes into the Goldfield( i was in Vic) ,i could almost imagine the picks and showel at work.......and now not a sound almost eerie in some place ,with a feeling of been watched....
Never in all my travels i had this sensation, anyway back to the drones .may get one soon to prospect the beaches,or the foreshore in London

A XP version of a better Nox if it make sense..........But i got nothing against minelab.XP is well known for it s build quality and its speed to solve problems......and they had a loooooot of time to work on something new.....or maybe the nox send all their project on the drawing board.

Knowing XP a top of the range aint gonna be a toy.The owner is himself a detectorist. He knows what peeps wants and he is also a visionnary. He knows we (the consumer) are getting more and more exigent. To be honest i ll be very very surprise if it isnt a beast of a mqchine.
