If i may 2/3 things:
1) the design is great depending of course of soil condition,i really like the fact that the "Digging Energy" will be focused on a narrow surface .
2)The handle : is it designed to be carry on your shoulder???as if it was to be dragged the abnormal position of your wrist will hurt after a while.
3) are you planning to build a larger model?
4) a wider foot rest wont hurt
5) i like it!!!!

good. I think a colleague on this forum recently received an intronik. He has recorded some video testing on the air. I would like you to keep us informed about how the detector behaves in real search and if a depth test is possible?
My mate Magus did a few videos on the beaches
Check him out at:

Vic Fiveash was his name i met him and visited his shop/house in 2000/2001 i think,he was living in Peckam SE london 10 min drive from me ,it was also said that he was a prestidigitator..........but far from me the idea of tarnishing his memory .I bought a MKII years ago with a 5"coil and it didnt make miracle on the Thames, trust me.
But somehow the machine had very good performances. Some said his designs were clone of Tesoros, last and not least i also heard his design were sold to a company from western Europe.I m in touch with a guy in France who recently bought 2 and was looking for parts........recently a 5" coil came out on ebay and was snatched in a sec

I'm thinking your a lot high. I mean no disrespect by that but, Most people who would buy that stuff would probably be using it for craft items. Which leads me to this thought. I'm not sure if you have any woodworking skills, But maybe you could arrange some of the finds on a nice old barn board and sell it as a decoration/display. In the past I have made coffee tables and framed story boxes. This requires a little more skill to do but you can get much more money for those junk finds. Some ideas attached. Good Luck
One f my mate is buying frames on boot sale(Garage sales in the US),remove the crap pictures and use the frame to dispaly finds and sell them on ebay or on the sale boot sales...........

I read about that Wednesday morning. Was concerned about where it was and the lack of posts. Tell him prayers were and are still with him. Looking forward to hearing his observations. When I go out in the waders and gauntlets this time of year, I go alone; tell the wife where and about how long, but that is about it. Some times don't see another soul out there. To see that happen to someone with so much experience gives pause.
JEEZ I DIDNT KNOW EMAILED HIM AND HAD NO NEWS!
Get well soon Joe!!!

Happy New Years to you RR!
That's a good outing with the new machine! And sounds like it punches deep.
Not much worse then car issues. I have one right now with my Honda, battery light just came on the last trip out. Years ago I would had no problem putting a new alternator on but seems the older I get the less I want to mess with that stuff. Now to set up a appointment I can't imagine having the transmission going out. 😬
So far i got no gold or silver with mine but i got deeeeeeep stuff.I m not saying it doesn't find gold i m just showing that there is no miracle machine........Raw and Honest 🍗🍖

Problem is when you've been implying it is imminent for multiple years, you kind of lose credibility. They've been saying that about the Deus companion app for years also. It's always just few months away. A few months later, its still a few months away. That's how XP has done things since they announced version 4 SW is imminent 1.5 years before it was actually delivered. I've been seeing photos of their 2-box coil since 2015.
Bottom line, I'll believe the XP rumors when I actually see some hardware and not just whispers or even glossy marketing brochures.
I agree but aren't all manufacturer the same????? they need the hype :)
The hoard hunter is a delicate one as when you hunt hoards it aint anymore a hobby.......

Hello to all and Happy New year it all started well as one the beach i hunt seems to have been cleaned of the loose sand by the recent storm, glad i could use my MDT after his minor repair .Did again some deep stuff ,the lamp bulb socket and the pyramidal lead where at 40/45 cm i tried to max out the machine and it was fun.As you can see lots of brass junk missed by others but i guess they did get the gold😃😃😆😆
Then the car gearbox decided it was time to die and the lockdown PART III started....
😄😄😍🤣
Enjoy

Hello and Happy New Year!
I m pretty sure XP will release something soon, those guys aren't sleeping.i will put my bet for April........The fact that we are so spoiled for choice make me wonder where will i put my money next if i do as i realised that the Nox on the beach is very very good,The Tarsacci another very good one.
For my type of research on the Thames i ve got all of the best/fast and selective machine.
I ll get the 12" coil for the MDT when it comes out and should use my G5c more,Covid restriction out of the way of course!
