  1. Hello to all,i own a lot of machine but the MDT is growing on me .Went for a session with my mate Fred last night ,Fred has found tons of stuff and kilos of gold .

Last night we went to a beach near our place, for a comparative test: Fred (45 years of beach combing) with his NOX big coil and 2.5 years of everyday with it vs Tarsacci and my meagre experience with it(3 hours😂😅).Well every target found by one was found by the other except the fuse i had a solid but very stable 04 and the nox was telling it was crap, very deep in the dark sand .We were far from the beach on the low tide line but lots of large iron still, some targets had to be left as we only took spades .This beach is hammered but i dug all funny signals(remenber i dont know the machine very well)

The MDT will detect steel wire, nails and staple but with a negative number, basically like using a pulse with discrimination.Stable and well balance ,tones are still funky to my ears but i am sure i will get used to.

I has been years since i had such fun with a machine early maybe but can't wait to try it more.......

Now (I WILL EDIT THIS POST DEPENDS WHERE I POST IT),the price can be seen has high ,but we all love Artisan like baked cakes, coffees, small batch clothes or custom cars well i consider the MDT has one of those production unit.Made with care and tech.

At the end of the day if noone had bought the 1st XP ADVENTIS with aluminum box maybe the Deus will have never seen the light.

    GO Tarsacci GO!!!!

      Good luck with it RR,

I'm keeping my eye on it's use on the beach and saltwater, by our forum member's! Price is the only hindrance for now! As compaired to a Nox! I hope it does a better job of staying dry, and problem free!👍👍

Bought it used at a good price!

  5. Hello to all ,

Despite the dodgy weather went for a beach session yesterday on the UK Kent coast armed with my Nox ,beaches have moved a bit which is why i believe i found so much stuff.

4 hours non stop on not so popular beaches but still few coins despite the Covid restrictions,a silver and an copper bracelet and bit from another (made i believe to combat athirst and rheumatism )plus enough coin for parking and petrol(i was on a local beach ) a good work out for sure

    Enjoy

I use a water proof, metal free calf boot most of the time when I walk on the beach.  I have bought them from various places like Walmart, sporting goods stores and online.  They are both styles of fishing boots and muck boots for agriculture and the like.  All of them crack after just a few months (many miles) and they leak.  In the past I have tried glue, tapes and other things to get more life out of them.  I've tried different brands.

My last purchase was a pair of Tingley's and they are probably the best so far but they have now cracked down near my big toe.  They have lasted since February.  They have gone up 50% in price since then.

Does anyone know a glue or fix for this?  I wouldn't mind even slopping something over the outside but it has to be flexible.

When the water is warm I could use a Clog or slipper but they don't provide the support and protection when I refill my holes.

The best???The french maker LE CHAMEAU Marine neoprene or not low or hight i had a pair of non neoprene in my youth when i was working as a fisher monger result 100 hours a week moving tons of fish boxes in the salt of the salt room ,driving etc last me a year ......i throw them when i move to UK.Bought one pair in UK 7 years ago still got them.2 pairs came out on sale 6 months ago bought them both without hesitations should last me till 97 years old.......they are pricey but they also got a good look and because they are pros,i wear them on the coast and i look more locals than the locals............and the mermaids tend to like it 😆😆😆

    hello,

there are a lot of good ideas. Being from France, there is the site of a gold panning association which has become in less than a year the reference site for gold panning in France. In addition, they are volunteers. They publish a lot of articles. Including one that perfectly answers the question to make a good number of DIY materials. I advise you to go read it. It is really very informative https://www.goldlineorpaillage.fr/materiel-orpaillage-soit-meme-diy/

    Merci!

I do a lot of recycling of metal in my local area as a side hobby. I received over 15,000 pieces of magnetic stainless steel flatware from a company that does the cleaning of restaurant cloth napkins, aprons etc. Restaurants do lose a lot of flatware! But talking with local restaurant owners, I found out that lost flatware, broken glasses and dishes are put into the budget as part of normal operations. So I was going to re-sell the flatware I received, but found out that the restaurant's suppliers sometimes get them free flatware as a thank you for their business. In my area there would be zero interest in that machine. No one would pay an employee to find flatware. But in high end areas where actual sterling silverware is used it may get some attention.

I work in an expensive restaurant no silverware.......stainless only
