As busy as one might be, not returning a customer’s phone call or email is a very poor busy practice. Business is either too small to care or too big to care. Take your pick. It’s like going to the gold field and not switching on your detector while you hunt. Customers are like gold nuggets. One minute they’re there and the next minute they’re not. So the dealer better have his business detector turned on.
Good Luck Simon!

I would prefer the 9" for trashy beaches. 6" too small. 11" sometimes too big. 9" just right!

I hope for Minelab's sake it's not a systemic problem with all Equinox units and their pinpoint buttons, being sealed units they'll be in for some grief having to replace all control heads with a new fixed up model. Two in a row is extremely odd but there seems to be no other reports of it I've seen so it's likely you're just unlucky. My issue with pinpoint is that odd low volume thing that corrects itself usually with another activation of pinpoint mode, that doesn't seem like a button hardware problem however and if it is indeed a fault they can likely fix it with a firmware update.
I had this happen several times at the beach today. now I'm questioning whether it's messed upon not.

Ok I changed my mind on purchasing the ORX..the price was lowered to 599. with x35 9” coil. Since I already have the two Hf Coils on hand it was a simple choice. Headphones were another $99. We’ll see how the ORX does on the beach for me.

The time for US release is getting close. So I thought I’d get my preorder in. I’m looking forward to trying out the new Simplex+ and see how it compares with the Deus and Nox.

The Easy Stow Headphones are excellent. Ive bought two pairs in the past to use with various detectors.
Very comfortable with great sound.

I was surprised by this update. Last week only a rumor. This week update available and installed. Good luck!

I have (2) 800s. I left #1 with update 1.7.5 and updated #2 with 2.0.1. I plan to test both in wet salt sand this week/weekend and post my observations. Stay tuned.
Looking forward to your results Dan. Thanks!

I agree thank you for raising the Bar way up on the Simplex+. When might the Simplex be available to purchase?
