    Chase,

Last year our village council remove our playground and all the brand new rubber mulch because a child got a piece of wire and rubber stuck in his knee. It went in about an inch and had to be removed. Our new playground now has a river gravel about a 1/4 inch round and about 8 inches thick.

Sometimes “old school” is the best solution.

  2. Welcome History Surfer from SoCal. Paddled into few myself. When I was in the line up, I would see the older guys (dudes, lol!) on the sand MDing. Back then I thought to myself, when I get old and can no longer surf, I’m going to try metal detecting. Boy did old come fast! Lol!

May you find the gold and the “Green Room” many times over. Good luck!

  3. Welcome aboard Joe. Good luck getting down to AZ when you can. The heat can be ridiculously hot and unbearable unless you’re near a river to swim in but the landscape can look unbelievable especially around the lake Havasu area.

  4. That’s awesome RR! I think it’s XP’s finest coil. First time on the beach and it found a beautiful silver academy ring that was tiny. It’s a decently quiet coil but sure reports the target.

Sorry to hear of the oppressive heat. We just had a heat wave this last week. It can be rough detecting in extreme conditions.

Well good luck out there and shows us what you find.
