Kind of funny Minelab is putting all newer models in basically the same housing like Tesoro did with the µmax line. Except the Cortez a la Manticore😄

Bought a golden µmax and a compadre at sunray when he was still in Hazleton iowa. Really liked it and only sold them about 2 yrs ago.

Nuggets are pretty sophisticated too.

So Minelab thinks it can have a go without the distributor. They will have to have some other type of wherehousing of product to pull that off and develop dealer relationships which they are fraying in the United States.
Wonder if Europe's versions of Basspro are getting extra attention from M/L lately.

Even with masked targets by iron. My ferrous limit upper bar is set to 6 maximum. Yes, it is falsing but I easily understand where is the target and where is iron.
Does the 2D figure into this or just your ears? Do you pinpoint to help in final determination?

They are cheap and everyone has a few laying around. the one above is expensive,😄 $12.99 but harbor freight sells sets for that. link to one pictured from asmanon https://www.amazon.com/Tueascallk-Woodworking-Improvement-Photography-Projects/dp/B07FPN6W49

For Minelab Manticore users the pack can be fastened with a thin cable tie through the upper mounting hole.
Should be good according to website.

Were the Equinox's accessory coils released any sooner then than they seem to be (as still promised) for the Manticore today? Are we any smarter / better informed when we post our opinions, speculations, and hypotheses now than 5 years ago??
Minelab's betting we aren't. I would say they feel newer buyers have more fun money and lower expectations. The number of people that have at least 2 SMF units tell the tale somewhat.

seen used one on facebook for about $1300 in wisconsin

His site was in french but catalogs were usually in English. Lost my bookmarks and can't find it, thought it was mentioned here a few years ago, thanks.

sounds normal in signal rich ground plus the iron halo's. It makes it impossible to dig it all in yards and parks, in fields i can dig till i get a clue what's going on and can ignore junk if i don't feel like a groundhog.

i think that link is from The U.K.

* Note that this was designed for the original Equinox 600/800 models. The next gen 700/900 do not have the arm cup screw, so will require alternative fixing. For the New Equinox Series we recommend using our Pwr-Clip Stem Mount Probe Clip, see options at the top of the page. For Minelab Manticore users the pack can be fastened with a thin cable tie through the upper mounting hole.

Looks like it should have never left the factory, I wouldn't buy that if it was a cheap factory second. Coil cover even stay on?

That's a great find anywhere especially a place like that!

Maybe just coincidence, but I do better in the late afternoon. I wonder if guys that hunt at night can tell the difference from a day hunt?

Nice surprise to find silver in a park anywhere these day's. Got to looking at my home town park list and found a few small ones in 1850's neighborhoods that i never knew about. Just small parcels but surrounded by historical homes. And a divided street with 12 foot wide by 60 green strip down the middle that got me looking at the area to start.
