Next up is my first detector, the Go-Find 40, far too basic and far to easy to grow out of, works well enough but life without target ID's isn't a life I want to live looking for coins, quickly replaced.
You really should of stepped up to the Go-Find 60🙂 You could link it to your phone🙄 The 60 was a pinball machine display wise, distracting. Sold that one very soon.

I think Mr. Lawrie mentions some small jewelry type targets? Those aren't "small" compared to a tiny gold nugget?
I believe you got it right. Don't remember his exact words but small bronze bits and small chains is what i think he said. This was in Germany and good conditions.
-
That's a piece of history for sure! Talk about a high conductor, how deep was that?
-
Lawrie said in a old interview M/C was a little over an inch deeper the the EQ 800 but in Germany on small targets he found it was a few inches deeper. Don't remember type of targets but small.

OK that is the new one with response. Basically 50% more power to the coil as stated in Minelab YT's before release.
-
Sorry if this was already brought up but how about contacting coiltek to get one of their cords/connecters.
-
I saw that yesterday Strick. Seems Merrill, "NYC" put out a youtube "Minelab lied", something about the 50% more power claim. Mark Lawrie from Minelab contacted him and merrell took it down on his own he say's. Now i guess after they talked about the claim NYC (Merrell) is going to put another out about the subject with some answers to manticore capabilities. Interesting in just minelab responding much less commenting on something like this. "Minelab Lied" was sure to get a reaction and Lawrie being the spokesman at the time I'm sure didn't appreciate it either.

"The capsule which measures 6mm in diameter by 8mm in height is used in mining equipment but can lead to dangerously high doses of radiation if mishandled." Wow and was detected at 70mph i think. That's smaller then most bullets i reload.

Regton Ltd, This morning The Searcher released information on a find by one of our Regton customers, Charlie Clarke. It was found in 2019 with an XP ORX and for various reasons, it could not be announced until today.

Tesoro golden µmax had tones and really helped me with 5 tones on the EQ 800 after i abandoned all tones.🙄

I like the Manticore. I just have not been wowed by it yet. Maybe I expected to much. I can't find anything to gripe about the way it functions really. So far from everything I can tell It's way better than the Equinox around EMI. That in itself is a major win.
There are plenty of nice touches. The menu layout and navigation is great. The screen itself looks fantastic. Plenty of audio options. I like AT HC and AT LC the best. I still say the Manticore eats battery pretty fast. I was using AT HC the whole time today about 5 hours. I think this new screen has to use more battery than the Equinox screen too.
My hunt today was an old ball field my buddy found. Lots of really deep clad. To stinking deep actually, and very corroded. I swear some this clad 9"-12" deep. I'm glad the ground was wet, but flipping the plug was tough. Saturated clay is heavy. I got my first silver with the Manticore today. Also a sterling silver marksmanship medal.
WOW! I guess it depends how much wow is worth.🙂

Your doing it right but they go fast. Have to keep checking there site. I hope all dealers are getting some soon, ridiculous.
