  1. Describing detector audio is hard to to do and hard to understand.  Musically inclined people are ahead of the game at this.  My grade school music teacher Juan Anatoo decided the best instrument for me was felt covered blocks.

  2. I made my own C/F shaft in 2018 and only used the lower coil shaft.  Dont think i used the new replacement (middle and lower only)at all.  But when i bought a Coiltex10x5 i grabbed the new lower and dang thing was too tight for the C/F to fit.  So when i put the nox to bed for the winter i put it on the new shaft and left the old lower in the C/F for storage.  The old middle  is just clutter.

There is just something about Minelabs that do not like Iron even in all metal modes. The Sovereign worked like this as well.  With the horseshoe mode on nonferrous will break down at some point on a 360 look of the target.

Thanks, could you clarify or explain this a little?  "With the horseshoe mode on nonferrous will break down at some point on a 360 look of the target."   Non ferrous target falsing as iron but breaks up sometime in a 360 investigation?

  4. Thanks i didn't know much about them.  Your probably right about the yellow one.  Don't see much but limestone around here but just to the west there are glacial smooth rounded stones in the fields.  This came from that type area but from a 6 foot deep trench thru a creek bed.  The white stone with fossils is really smooth and very hard,  was in better shape but spent a few winters outside.

  5. Return Padre Island treasure or else
Some time ago, a judge in Kingsville ordered State Land Commissioner Sandler to pack up all that Spanish treasure recovered off Padre Island and turn it over to the University  of  Texas  for  restoration and safekeeping.
But the judge, Paul Martineau, learned last week that Sadler still has part of the treasure in his offices. Today, he gave Sadler until tomorrow night to get rid of it. (Editor’s Note: This was originally broadcasted by WBAP-TV/NBC station in Fort Worth on Oct. 20, 1969.)

  6. nickel silver, a range of alloys of copper, nickel, and zinc which are silvery in appearance but contain no silver. Its composition varies from 7 to 30 percent nickel, the alloy most widely used being 18 percent nickel silver (18 percent nickel, 62 percent copper, 20 percent zinc). another name is German silver.  Any makers marks?  Great buckle.
