Hard to lock on anything out there.  No ferrous on the pendant with my magnet.  I like this coil too.

I pick a few targets out back in the war on rusty nails and brass screws once a week or so.  The little necklace or pin has a bit of gold plate left and was a bouncy 14 -16 and 8" deep. The coins were all in rusty bits 6 to 10 inches. this was with my 800 and coiltek 10 by 5

Yabut 900 is NEW and IMPROVED.  You can waive the coil over bread and make toast!  The manti is supplied with air fryer recipes and ironing instructions.  But somewhat seriously somewhere it was said the 900 has a faster processor for better separation.  Better navigation is a good thing for sure.  I tried to put M/L out of my brain but too much time on my hands.  Reloaded shotshell, rifle, and pistol calibers, repaired about drawer or window in the house. 

Hopefully the 900 will be better with EMI but the claim on the maybemore is due to the coils and power so unless the 9 approached the problem in another way??  Haven't seen any 900 reports so i shouldn't get too froggy.  What i've seen on manticores TT  is promising for sure.  The mineralized ground will be where i think we all need more info.  In a spot where lead ore was smelted i don't expect anything better.  But a tavern parking area closed about 1968 i hope for some improvement.

Manticore only uses manticore coil's, 800 coils will work on the 900 though.

Lead ID's around 55-65 but the TT is just below the centerline.  Great for beach/water hunting and relic hunters should like this too.  

I liked mine in the trash for sure.  I sold it recently but couldn't get the coil cover off.

Starting to look at it this way.  If you want an improved 800 get the legend.  If you want an EQ2 get a manticore.  

How ever it turns out the end user cost go's up i would think.  

Chase this reminds me of the EQ release & everyone wanting earbuds and solving shaft wobble.  You typed your fingers off keeping up to all the questions on different forums plus a ton of researching!  Thanks for all that and saving people lots of money on mis compatible products.  I say mis as some would connect but with lag time.   The 8-oh-oh was a frustrating unit when it first came out and people like you really stepped up to help owners get around several problems.

I liked the Iron bias in the Iffy Signals vid.  Above ground i know but if it (900) can knock out rusty caps and small wire nails in the top few inches on a lower setting wouldn't it open up deeper good targets?  Any thoughts on under the hood improvements over the 800? 

I guess we can still do it the full wired way with an adapter.

My buddy trout fishes in a little stream that is a mile as the crow flies but 3 miles on foot from the road.  An old government document said traces of gold in 1904.  He just wants to confirm gold.  A speck would have him crowing for longer then i want to think about😃.  I would think panning would be good enough.  It's 28x10 inches. and a few dozen specks in price 

The worse my hearing gets the more i appreciated the WM-08,  Have some old but awesome double volume knob phones that really opened my eyes and ears.  I'm kinda torn about my last post but the 800 was a heck of a intro to minelab.  Thought  well maybe they got over their ski's , just a blip.  Just about all marketing fails my expectations these days.  But if i can swing it I'm still hoping to buy the manticore or 900 this spring!   Hope you people get yours soon.

Black screen usually means you fast forwarded too much, yes i tried to get thru it too.   Wish aquachigger had one, he don't know what an air test is   Iffysignals is in the north so i get him not doing real digs.  Don't know much about TTSS guy but hope to see a YT that shows signals and results from detecting trips.  Agree on the weird avoidance about BT audio.  No solid clues in the patents?  Who makes the headphones, maybe do a cross check?  Hope you all get your machines real soon!
