I see only two advantages of this device. It works with D2 and is compact and light and maybe also fast asssembly... so.
-
Hot air temperature and low water temperature and we have the perfect receipt for disaster...
-
For me, a big coil is useless too much iron everywhere...
-
Maybe some Nowak device I need to show. But don't expect miracles anyway...

Here in the first half of next month probably... or September...

I was switch form Garrett AT on SPHINX:

Almost the price of D2 without headphones and a panel. I'm waiting for that special SMF technology features ;).

So how do gadgets like this compare to Pulse Induction detectors with a big coil when it comes to depth on these hoard type targets? I guess their advantage is they offer some discrimination which is probably better than the discrimination on say a GPX 5000 with a large DD coil.
PI or IB kill it in a few seconds by depth... The wireless feature is useless in a two-box setup... maybe for EMI catching. Ok, build quality and ergonomics, and weight that is ok here. But I don't see any advantages of SMF technology for two-box. Maybe I'm wrong but...

Wireless two-box... hmmm I will prefer PI in that place or IB. EMI proof when you compare to SMF. In some places SMF and VLF struggle with interferences and IB or PI is silent... so...

Ok, no depth differences, but the ID of little hammered silver coins is very, very low. Starts from 7-8 ID. I understand that it is not possible to distinguish it from the little piece of foil... but is low. I was trying to work with stabilizer features switched on - value about 7 in dense iron but with enhanced audio it amplifies target audio... that is not bad but I'm not sure yet, I need more time to test it.

Uhym that is true! You can buy perfect Twobox from Nexus but eliptical HF will be perfect idea.
-
HF coil?

About GOLD yes. I compared The LEGEND scale and GOLD ID with Manticore. The upgrade is necessary.

What’s its depth? 2 ft on a coin?
Depth for what coin in what soil with what coil 😎 It depends.

Little summary. The threshold was too high, and the place is heavily covered with iron. Deus II or Manticore, which I have, hardly works here. They are much louder and it isn't easy to find something precious. Depth and recovery speed is incredible with SS coil. I will try to use a double butterfly coil above the high grass soon. I'm impressed with how that metal detector performs. Nexus Mp v3 is a true high-quality tool and is different than other devices. You have to forget everything you've learned with other detectors and start from scratch. Lesson learned.

That is a good idea to hunt near Agadir and Casablanca. You will find nice resorts there.

Test on my iron filed (English subtitles)

That is Hammid, my good friend. He lives near Casablanca 😉

On the beach yes. But inland no. You need to get all the necessary permissions for it. Ask local police before each move to avoid trouble. I have friends in Morroco. Where are you going? Agadir?

Nice one CPT! I never would have thought that Audio Response could have an impact on falsing. I watched a couple of vids on how well Fast was unmasking in iron in V1.10. Very impressive. Using the offset in Full Tones was a good idea. I can't wait to get out and try it!
It could be - that is ALL AUDIO amplifying... so the amount of EMI mixed with noise is going up.
-
Interesting review. Thank you mate!

The new audio is brilliant! In the ocean of iron, I can easily lock on a target and after that, I can get more data about the target kind... that is a lot of information. Smooth plain and easy data. If you add ID - bug numbers, XY, and 90 degrees turn... and you know everything.
