  1. WoW !!!!!!!!!!!!!------- Outback Yank's Goldfield Tours------ hahaha

    She's a beaut mate!!!!!

We need to get all them seats out so I can have plenty of room to set up the crusher and the sluicer........🤠 🤑👨‍🦯🍻

and at least two full size fridges!!!!!!

Put some of the seats in the shed!

I am so ready to be back.... and that aint no lie!

Will that big DeWalt spin off those lug nuts???

    You know me and flats...

  2. Big time!

     Same issues..

i had to start using a Vaseline type grease... heavy grease .. petroleum Like the original. Every night.. I hate using it

but I get to the point where I can’t walk.... I even got cellulitis two months ago when I jumped in a horse trough with all the primordial soup that was brewing in it....

    So it ain’t no joke...

Never happens in WA that I remember.... must be a different type “dry” heat🤠🤣

  3. Alaska is big.... that’s true Steve!

I remember when I first went there on a contract with the VA that I took a trip on the weekend. I went from Anchorage up through Talkeetna and Denali, worked my way over to Fairbanks. Then I made my way down past North Pole  and onto Glennallen and slept there.

Then I came on back to Anchorage via the road along the Matanuska glacier.

When I went back to work I was bragging on how much a Alaska I had seen over the weekend.

My buddy who is a VA policeman just chuckled and took me into a board room and showed me a map on the wall. This map covered  the whole wall ....it was a big map of Alaska.

When he showed me the tiny circle I had made on my trip I was amazed that my three day trip covered only about one square foot of the map!!!

    That’s how big Alaska is.

Hey Steve.... I even ran into you up in Chicken that next year... and I thought that was the end of the world from anchorage.

As we all know, appearances can be deceiving. Looking at it from a logical progression point of view, the GPX range had made many functions that were preset and hidden in the GP series, e.g., the motion and audio filters, stabilizer and tracking speed, etc., fully user adjustable beginning with the GPX 4000. So the next logical progression of this for the more automatic and user-friendly platform of the GPX 6000 would be to have the detector automatically and continuously adjusting these parameters according to the ground conditions, the coil sweep speed and other variables. Perhaps this is in part what the Geo Sense tech is all about.

logical progression point of view, ???????---🤠

Despite all the technical information they are spilling, they are still saying right on their videos that no price has been revealed and won't be revealed until mid-Feb, so I think they are sending a pretty strong message that here's some great info but don't plan on buying it for another month.

But I suppose everyone has their price...  Definitely, not a detector that I feel I need to have shipped over today.  I can wait until it rolls out per ML's plan and we hear some trustworthy reports on actual performance.

    C'mon mate!!!

    Where's your pre_early adopter attitude !!!

    Damn the torpedoes!!!---

    Full speed ahead !!!!!!!!!!!

  6. North GA area??? --

I would seriously save up some gas money and spend it driving to AZ and spend a week or two detecting there---

I cant imagine detecting for nuggets the east--- its difficult enough in the western state...!

BTW I am from east tennessee---

If i were not able to travel away from the east (for whatever reason) I would be coinshoting and relic hunting--- maybe even down to the panhandle of Fla and do some beach hunting--

Just being real---- Good luck on whatever you choose----

  7. Looking good mate!!!

Here is the link to the original 4wd thongs on Amazon--- they are out of size 12 right now so i will have to wait for the Taskmaster's  and mine---- Not sure how they would get on without the extra Vibram sole I used , but that can always be added at a cobbies later----

    Keep digging!

They arent as expensive on Amazon as they were in the shop!

  8. By the way, here’s a package I received yesterday evening from my mates  over in FNQ.. the Dave Wright and his son Jakie plus the rest of this extended family.. took me in like a member of the family.

Another good mate Norvic took me in and let me use his home.. There are others, but they are too smart to want to be associated with me on the internet... 🤣

    Anyway thanks Jakie!!!

     The XLs fit perfectly!

  9. No worries mate

I get close to you when I’m in Meeka, but have never made the trip up to the station.
    Maybe the next year.

i can only watch so many YouTube videos of that red dirt and hearing the wash gravel when someone is getting close. ✔️
    i love that .

Or when I hit the cap and my arms vibrate..  hahaha

    🤠

If you change your mind I have to get  the” Taskmaster” another pair. Should have known he could destroy them.

Hope you have a great year!!!

     Lots of weight mate!

Did you by them here in WA? If so what brand are they if you don’t mind.

I wear thongs a lot but the Double-Gees here go right through them and nail them to your feet. They look like they’d do the job

I had them made by a cobbie in WA.... that’sWashington State

they started out as good leather soles, but like you say WA has some sharp rocks and such

so I had him glue on the Vibram sole.. works a treat!

Expensive,,,, but so is the 7000... and you can’t use it if your feet are buggered

had no issues with anything going thru these...
