Gold is good, nice find. Yep, with 14 total golds in the last couple of months, I'd say you and the Manticore are learning each other just fine. Good hunting! HH jim tn

Anytime you get a "piece" of silver, its a good day in my book. And a large cent is a great added bonus. Good hunting! HH Jim Tn

Great find and great returning it. HH jim tn

Good to see you are back at it and have a pretty neat spot nearby to get back at it on. As you know, there is still more goodies to be had. Good luck! HH jim tn

Two really nice recoveries. Good hunting! My buddy dug a 16 reading the other day and was rewarded with a nice 18k band. HH jim tn

That Barber is a pretty one. Nice batch of old coins over all. You've got one of those old spots that while it may get or be frugal, it will never be hunted out. Good luck! HH jim tn

Some nice finds! Probably not, but at first glance your oval piece looked like a lever to a carbine rifle. HH jim tn

Welcome to a great forum and hobby. After 50+ years with it, I still get a thrill upon seeing silver and gold in the dirt. I, too, swing a Nox 600. Learn it and it will treat you well. Good luck! HH jim tn

Welcome from Tn. Good luck to you and your sons. It's a great hobby and even better with family members. HH jim tn

Good on the Rosie and the compass pedant is still a cool find. For places to hunt, you might check your surrounding towns for golf courses being renovated. I am hunting on my 3rd one in the last four years and all have been good for silver coinage and good jewelry. Anyway, good luck on finding new spots. HH jim tn

Good on the 18k and silvers. My buddy dug a 16 on his 800 the other day and popped a nice 14k band turf hunting. Good hunting! HH jim tn

That's a nice hunt for sure. The Barber and Largie both look good. Good hunting! HH jim tn

Personally, I like to leave old coins in their natural state, un-cleaned. And never clean a "key date" coin,,,,,period. But a gentle cleaning of the older types of coins is really a personal thing. HH jim tn

Seated is 'Seated, well, worn or not. I like those low number silver surprises. Typically, they are very worn. Good find. HH Jim Tn

Welcome to a great hobby and treasure forum. I have the Nox 600 and simply hunting in the factory preset modes after a noise cancel and sensitivity of 20 or so will find you plenty of treasure. Practice on coins of various sizes and commonly found trash items and listen to the various tones and what the target I d readings show. Most importantly, simply have fun. Good luck! HH Jim Tn
