Retired Peace Officer from Arizona, Dept. of Trans. Enforcement Compliance Division (Port of Entry locations).   Spent a good amount of time in Alaska at Two Rivers and worked as Post Master there as well as other jobs.  States lived in are Arizona, Wisconsin, South Dakota (where I am now) Florida, Minnesota, Tennessee, Missouri (great detecting there), Washington State.  Served in the Navy as a CT (Communications Technician sometime during the 1800's, if I recall correctly.  I have in my youth picked cotton the old fashion way, been a private investigator and done some things I can't remember and some things I wish I did not remember.
