Thanks Steve ! The knowledge I have gained from your writings have helped me immensely ! Since being new to detector knowledge I wanted a machine that is capable of nugget hunting and coin shooting at the same time. I choose the Gold Kruzer. The serious nugget hunters here in Arizona pretty much use Gold Monsters. I only want one machine due to finances and time to dedicate towards nugget hunting. Did I make a good choice on an everything machine ? Your expertise on this subject I value ! Thanks Jerry

I’m not sure either on why the GK is not that popular in the U.S. In Arizona the gold monster is the popular one. I expect the gold nugget shooters will eventually know how great they work in the tough ground we have in Arizona. Lots of trashy ground with hot rocks ! The GK works for me ! Gold Kruzer Jerry

Back to Steve’s comment on the GK price ! Well I was wanting a Gold machine for checking out old gold claims where I live in Arizona. The prices were too high for me with the gold monster and gold bugs. So I took a chance on the GK ! The price was right, got one ! Complicated but very good ! I can predict what the target is(Penny, nickel, dime or quarter), like it ! Gotta do your homework to figure it out. Gold is my next challenge, one step at a time ! Even found a debit card under wood chips in a kids playground ! Could have got another GK if I wasn’t honest ! Just kidding !

My gk did the overload thing also in a wash over black sand. I adjusted the gain down and it stopped the overload noise.
