  1. .... over the weekend I switched through my 3 test items is Spectrum V3 with 12x10 and 6x10 sniper coils, tecnetics G2 with 11dd and 13 ultimate, and Rutus Optima with 29CM DD - and I can tell from Equinox that in this test over them reserve even when the Spectra with 12x10 bits takes the best  signal denar and  earrings- for 1F -7.5 khz--the multifrequency  for V3 Spectra its less deph and accuracy  ID in depth as one frequency- this is probably the only  lack of Spectra. Rutus Optima on DD29 also takes a denar and a earrings coil just above the ground but with a good ID - it's a good detector ... Pretty surprised by the tecnetics G2 with the 13 ultimate- taking the denar and the  earrings  a good and stable ID with even a coil a little bit over the ground-normal sweep- is a significant difference compared to the standard 11DD coil-you have already swept the ground to get some occasional positive signal .... what also surprised me on G2 of the 13 final sometimes got the signal also at a .0.05gram -lthough id was at 70 but it was .. -not in vain it's a gold detector .. Wink -this tested detectors were set to maximum sensitivity-but I skipped for sure a little less sensitivity ..- when I sum up the Equinox on sensitivity from 19 and it does not take 2 but all 3  deph test items with exact ID, I see it as it's uniquely great advantage ...

  2. 5aba34f26eddf_iphone5Smarec6006_DxO.thumb.jpg.202e7fee9697ca62667c2d2695cda8a7.jpg.I thought you were responding to Equinox programs so I ... I compared Equinox 800 to 3 buried items: -N2,N5,N6 ....1-AU segment  O  -0.05 gram-in depth 10cm, .... 2.- 14mm denar in depth 23cm ... and 3-13.5mm silver earrings at a depth of 20cm .... Equinox on Park 2, Field 2, Gold1, Gold2 has a signal for all 3 items at ease from sensitivity-19 -23 even with good ID -9,10 -Denar, 9ID- earrings., 1-2 ID Au segment O -0.05 gram.. but surprised me Park1, and Field 1, at sensitivity 20-23,24, -nice signal of Denar and silver earrings with a bit higher ID 11,12-Denar, even at such a depth .... but again on small  AU  segment O-0.05 grams did not respond to the maximum sensitivity 25 ... before I tried to dig up and AU segment O- just for 8cm .. and program park1, field 1 it also did not take away ..... Recovery speed I skipped from 1 to 8 ... good response had recovery 3,4,5,6 - even when the best was -4 ... Wink...

  3. I gave the surface 2D Yt-test because it shows the other logic and efficiency of coin and iron detector work on a low recovery rate 1  - the coin signal is sufficient long, full and strong, high recovery rate 8 in this case cut signal coins for more times-the detector only sees a smal piece of coin , but the iron signal under the coil is still -strong ...

  4. “A square-wave drive TX produces a triangle-wave current and magnetic field, which produces exponential eddy responses in targets. You can sample the RX response with early/mid/late sample windows and effectively get X and R from this.

In a sequential multifrequency (SMF) where short & long duration TX drives are temporally separated, you can easily use parallel demod channels with proper timing to extract the X & R for the different frequencies. No pre-filtering needed since the responses are not intermixed.

In a concurrent multifrequency (CMF) where short & long duration TX drives are intermixed, the RX signal is bandpass-filtered into each frequency channel for X & R demodulation. Then the signal is closer to a sine wave and can be demodulated using continuous-time methods, exactly the same as a single-frequency design. The White's V3 demonstrated that when the channel filtering isn't good enough, frequency cross-talk makes ground balancing exceptionally difficult. That's why the V3 GB doesn't work as well as it should.  - Carl- Geotech forum..”.
Very much I appreciate the thoughts Carl Moreland ....           CMF multifrekvenci is Spectra V3 ,.....and SMF multifrekvenci  is  EQUINOX...

  5. In this test I used 5 detectors and  tested this 3D test...: 1nd place and Best signal -Equinox 800..., 2nd place  -good signal of the golden mask-9 "spyder and rutus optima DD29 coil,.... 3th place of the Spectra 12x10" detech coil -signal only  in very, very, low sweep  coil....and Teknetic G2 13 "ultimate coil - good signal only 20-25  cm above nails,  less - no signal -nada... is one important thing  !!!: Small and the ellipse of the coil will not go through such a test..!!!..Used coils in test: Equinox-11DDcoil...passed, Golden mask-9"spyder coil passed, Rutus Optima -DD29 passed, and DD23 coil.-no passed..,Whites SpectraV3 -6x4" whites-shooter ,10x6"mars sniper..-no passed and10"dd-whites..,12x10detech  coil- passed ....,Teknetics G2 - nel snake.., 11"dd tek coil. -no passed... .,,and 13" detech ultimate coil.-passed this test.....

  6. YES, I HAVE THIS TEST -EQUINOX TO RECOVERY SPEED 5,6,7,8 ... MY SETTINGS IN COMMENTS IN THIS TEST  ,,,,       SlavoM777   .....                                1 week ago
Equinox -Tone break is set to 2 in the Field 2 program, changed to 0, and open the Discrimination Accept -2 to 40 ... and this test goes to Recovery sped 5,6,7,8 ...

EL NINO77.  That is what I was curious to know.

In my environment so far, 2" extra to get a quarter at 14" I would only see to 12" is the sort of variable I can easily weigh in my memory banks.

In my situation, that is a bad tradeoff for the benefits I see from using a higher recovery rate.  Not necessarily true for everyone in all situations, but it is good to know at times and places when it might be a significant gain/benefit.

Unfortunately, I'm out of reactions for the day, so thumbs up to you sir!

...but you have to sweep it slowly - ...- As Steve H. quite rightly remarked, on mineralized land at least 4 or more Recovery speed...So we can say that the correct size of recovery speed is also a marker of terrain mineralization....
