  1. The Iron Bias setting also influences: 1.Of the detector frequency used, or the multifactor program weights, 2. the set recovery speed ...,. 3 Detector Discrimination Used. and also 4.
detector sensitivity adjustment ... Now you can select -A: Do you want to increase the separation and unmasking of the detector in the iron? .. or B-do you want to discern iron-plated bottle cap caps? ... If you want to maximize the separation-A give the frequency, the multifrequency program type Park 2, the high recovery speed, the  less or no dyscrimination, and  less the sensitivity of the detector ... If you want to determine what is a ferrous waste- B, use a low frequency, a low power, low-frequency Beach 2 program to scale!, increase the iron bias to the maximum !,recovery speed high 7-8-!-its less sensible for, tini,or plated metal.. , increase the discrimination setting- !, and decrease the sensitivity...

  2. I'm on a high recovery rate, it's 6 better to figure out the size of the subject ... like the recovery speed 4 ... here's the signal longer and it's more compact-less readable ... for me, sometimes I switch to 5khz-a more iron signal ... ID is also run-less firmly ... Equinox has a feature with a optic overload indicator in only one program on Beach2 - and there is a TX execution ..- I try to do it in the - user profile program and compare it ..

  3. When I compared the ALLmetal and Discrimination modes in the 6-inch coil, I pulled the sensitivity up to the level when I feel weak, but regular signal on 13.5 mm -0.54 gram silver Denar coin -is buried at 23cm in the ground ... I got the sensitivity of 14th to Allmetal mode as also at Dyskrimination mode... program Park2, recovery speed 4 ... Signal without ID but clear and regular signal on nonferous metal ...Equinox has very good signal processing...All metall me also definitely outweigh discriminative-better capture signal -If the coil is not exactly above the deep target...like as a mini mix mode...

  4.  Separation....6 "coil  has a about 3cm wide- snapshot RX window -it helps,, .. 11" has  RX window wide 4.5cm ...Test - when I compared it a quick separating 6 "coils - I put in one row 6-7 pieces 10-eurocent coins per 1.5cm from each other .. and increased recovery speed - at 4 is in this test . relatively slow .. but at 6,7,8 it's gatling ...  ..I was surprised , how fast is Equinox ...

  5. CC-coil -I'm thinking about this idea a few days ago, even in terms of ID of iron undesired  waste ... "From my observation 6" equinox coil on targets 1 grain- range 3 ", standard coil 11" - range 2 " with the same sensitivity-20 ... program park 2, .... Is there also the possibility of a small coil-DOD-super D coil ...

  6. Profind 35 is set at 3 as sensitive as Profind 25 when set to max. When I dropped profind35 to max sensitivity-6 setting, it proved me to detect the thinness of 3.3mm diameter -0.062gram of a small piece of lead at a distance of -4mm from the tip, 4.3mm diameter -0.11gram piece of lead-at a distance of 8mm, and .. 5.6mm-0.37gram piece of lead-at a distance of 20-22mm ... Clearly in terrain it is more difficult to find...

  7. Equinox is specifically a detector with very good signal processing, it is very strong on the 11 "coil and also
very strong on 6 "coil- and low sensitivity 14 ...- if you work as an analog detector only 2- tons ... without ID  -incredibly deep.. .... today I compared the sensitivity and depth of allmetall mode and discrimination .. If you compare SEF12x10 with 10dd to Spectra V3 ... so I can not believe the coil 12x 15 for equinox will be deeper than standard 11 "-that will mat long window of scan ...

Steve, unfortunately I think you may be correct  ?

When I first read the manual I think I had read it as they had different weightings between all the modes 1 and 2.  Going by that little list some are the same and some are different and it is the other parameters and algorithms that further differentiate the modes.

Like you, I certainly won't be arguing a point as I'm sure the only people that really know the weightings are Minelab.

I guess the thing I always wondered (and always will) is if these higher weighted combinations are exactly the same or possibly differ 10 or 20 % between 1 and 2?  Who knows and in the end it doesn't really matter ?

You can use a stronger preamp -rx in the -gold 2 program, and it may be slightly changed Sat, and the frequency can be bridged as in the gold 1 program, what changes in the recovery speed - whether you are Gold2 optimized for recovery speed 4 - but I would be glad if someone also verified it....

  9. I use the coil mars sniper-6X10 "on the Whites Spectra V3-it's an excellent, and sensitive multifrequency coil, so I do not doubt the similar coil on the Equinox will be just as good ... it had 6 equinox" coil is already at home but momentarily I'm a week out in Spain...1658670549_august32018iphone5S007_DxO.jpg.675fd05afea7c8a889c7927e78338f53.jpg

  10. The multi-frequency is consumed by energy-battery consumption there must be X times as much as u1f ..., the important thing in deus V5 update is the possibility of WS4, WS5 to control many detector settings :

    • Reactivity
    • TX Power
    • Automatic Ground Tracking
    • Frequency offset (35 frequencies with the new X35)
    • Iron volume
    • Audio Response
