Can anyone confirm whether or not the warranty is transferable, thanks.

Great hunt, I'd love to find colonial relics.

It's not all fun and games and great finds every hunt ? There's always a price to pay for the keepers.

Holy cow - Dan!!
You beat me on that one ?I didn‘t even find that much lead in 6 years. Ok, mainly dry sand hunting.. never the less - that‘s just a ridiculous amount!
I think I have a 10 liter bucket full - I‘ll put it on a scale some day.
Lol, it was a spot close to my house and was producing just enough from time to time to keep me going back. I had myself convinced a honking gold ring was hiding among the lead :)

Is this your second Manticore ??
It is, had one back in Jan. I got frustrated with it and sold it. I'm going to give it another shot. I'm hoping to learn from the users that have had them all year.

I decided take the plunge again on the Manticore before the prices go up. I got the Christmas package with a free Profind 40.

Congratulations Gerry on a stunning find!! It doesn't get much better than and that's what every beach hunter hopes to find. It is amazing that someone would wear something like that in water. I guess he needed to have his ego stroked by showing it off. It would be a crying shame if you can't find the owner Thanks for sharing an amazing find.

Haha, I didn't see that, thanks for the heads-up.

Holy.. that's a sh!tload of sinkers ?
They sound too good to pass them by and I can totally understand, why they want to ban them in europe. Thanks, they sound very good on the D2 lol. Unbelievable how many are out here.

Good luck on your next hunt and stay safe out there.
Thank you. I kept wondering why it rang so low and the stone looked too nice for junk. I'm glad I cleaned it ?

Lead is selling for a big price these days if you can find a yard that will take it. Just drop in the gold so they give you a little better price.
I should be able to sell it, lots of hunting goes on around here.

That's a really cool gold nugget type ring.
I like the looks of those types of rings, I've dug a couple at another lake last year.

Thanks! That's what I keep hoping for lol. I've dug some class rings before that hit up there. I'm digging everything from 29 and up.

It was a beautiful day, sunny and in the mid 60's here in Central Texas. I got all my running around done for the day so I headed to a place I call Lead Lake. So far this year, I've dug over 70lbs of lead from here. I went out yesterday and gave up after 3 hrs with 3 coins and a pouch full of sinkers. Today turned out to be a rewarding hunt. Within the first hour, I had 2 rings, both I thought were junkers. The little one hit at 82 on the Deus 2 and the one with the stone read 49, which is gold range. It was stained so bad I couldn't see any marking inside the band.
About 30 minutes later I get a solid 60, which out here, is either a pulltab, nickel or lead. I was very surprised to see the small nugget ring pop out. The top part of the ring had some dark staining on it just like the ring with the stone. I grab my magnifying glass and sure enough, 10K I hunted a few more minutes and decided to call it a day. I was more than satisfied with my results for such a short hunt.
I inspected both rings when I got home and still could not see any marking on the larger ring. I threw all the rings in my tumbler to clean them up. After supper, I go out to check on the progress and was met with a very nice surprise, 2 pieces of goldness in the tumbler I grabbed my loupe and sure enough, 10K. I ended up with 4.5 grams of 10K between the 2.- 20

Congrats on a job well done, mission accomplished :) That looks like a great spot to hunt, no doubt a few more keepers are waiting to be found.

Well done again, Dan! Congrats on the silver and finding a hot spot that is all yours. That's very rare these days. ?
Thank you. The hunters around here don't seem to care about hunting around water for some reason. If they're hunting, they're not hunting for jewelry ?

Wow Dan, that was a good one. ?Looks like you carpet bombed the place ? Guess that will all be gone if the lake ever comes back. Nice silver haul!
Thank you. One good rainy season and the lake will be back to it's normal level. I'll take as much out as possible until then. Hardly anyone is coming here, except the fishermen. It's a very peaceful place to hunt and it appears I'm the only one hunting here.

Great job on the hunt, and I really like the hook pendant.
Thanks for keeping all that lead from the fish, it seems if they had more of it they could be writing with their tails.
Good luck on your next hunt.
Thanks Valen!
