I have seen some very nice remodels of a bus like that before, and don't get rid of all the seats.
You can save a couple of them to take with you in the storage area under the bus. Just add a few things, some curtains, and a fridge and all is good.
There should be enough room under the bus for most of your cargo and a couple of people to boot.
Bloody massive that under carriage storage, about 6 inches short on height of fitting 2 quad bikes in there!

WoW !!!!!!!!!!!!!------- Outback Yank's Goldfield Tours------ hahaha
She's a beaut mate!!!!!
We need to get all them seats out so I can have plenty of room to set up the crusher and the sluicer........🤠 🤑👨🦯🍻
and at least two full size fridges!!!!!!
Put some of the seats in the shed!
I am so ready to be back.... and that aint no lie!
Will that big DeWalt spin off those lug nuts???
You know me and flats...
No mining equipment inside, this is luxury accomodation mate!
Fridges ✅
Them seats in my shed ❌
Rattle Gun ✅
She has air bags to lift her up a bit when going, will be interesting to see how high of the ground she gets. May need to get really really big air bags where we go.

Unfortunately the compliance is about 1 in 10, hence mining companies are jacking up and things are getting tougher.
Last years ratio was even worse then that for me mate, I got back 2 mineral reports from nearly 100 40e.
The data is priceless, taking all the surface indicators without letting me know is a bit rough I reckon.

Unfortunately someone decided that they needed the 2 caravans I had left on one of my mining leases more then I did, even worse one of them was Paul’s little van from camp yank.
While pondering new accomodation for the next yank invasion I spotted this
As soon as I seen ‘Special’ I thought of Paul!
She is going to need a bit of remodeling but will make fine yank worthy accomodation I reckon.
Plenty of room for you in there too Steve if your brave enough to bunk with Paul.

JP must be moonlighting for Stihl, that looks more like a brush cutter prototype.

Could it be a gpz killer? Someone who knows a tester mentioned that you may see a lot of gpz's advertised shortly. There wasnt a HUGE difference between a 5000 and 7000 IMO. If the 6000 narrows that gap why would future buyers consider buying the flagship detector (gpz). I havnt used a 3030 but many seem to think that the nox800 is close in ablity at half the price.
I think JP already answered that one earlier. The GPZ was designed for raw depth, so I would not expect the 6000 to beat it on large deep gold.
It all depends on how you hunt, I have a loader to push more dirt off if I want to go deeper, so rarely need a 7000. But a super light, spec sniffer would be of great use in helping to work out where to scrape next. -
Reading between the lines the 6000 should be perfect for me, I do loads of loaming with detectors looking for reefs.
I reckon the main bit of leaked info to listen to is when they said, all gold types, all the time ( or something similar to that). This to me says it’s going to be good on small, queer shaped, prickly, speci bits (all gold) in highly variable mineralised ground (all the time).

I bought an infinium, leave it on the back of the ute and no one bothers to rob you cause they know you got no gold 😂.
It wasn’t a bad little detector , but not in the same league as the 4500 I had at the time.

This is all speculation, but it seems like in the LCD display has bars representing a relative depth of the target? So I wonder if it’ll show where the target is in that bar range. Like, bottom bar, deep, top bar close. So perhaps the depth display coupled with tone/loudness of the target would give the user an idea on if it’s trash. A deep screamer might be the biggest nugget ever, vs a buried Volkswagen to pass up.
Also, it reminds me of the design on Whites GMX Sport, and gold monster in the simplistic design. It really seems to be the over all goal, a GPX 5000 with the simplicity of a newer VLF.
I’m relative novice so many grains is salt, just my impressions. Being a novice though w/o a pulse induction or any sunken cost into other coils for a similar platform this detector is very interesting to me. At the end of the day, does it find gold, and does it mean I’m spending more time with the coil over the ground vs messing with settings.
The bars on the screen are power level/sensitivity not depth.

Blokes 🤔, pretty sure Krissy is a chick 😂.
Great couple they spent several months on my tenements here in WA.

I wouldn’t be getting overly excited about discrimination, it was not mentioned in any of the rumours I have heard.
I got the impression Geosense was better ground handling for extreme conditions, which there is a lot of around where I prospect.
-
And it comes with a Minelab lower shaft, nice inclusion.
-
I see the release date on the documents has been changed again to 9/2/21 🙁
I’m looking forward to getting one, have never been disappointed with any new Minelab detector and can’t see this one being any different.
Edit- after thinking about it I do have a serious dislike for the gpx4000, one dud isn’t a bad strike rate.

I use an app called MapsPlus on my iPhone and Ipad. I import and geo reference in the app so no need for a desktop program with it. Of all the apps I have used I like this one the most, good stability with large imports, can run a large amount of overlays at the same time, and a cheap one of price to access all features.

Gold and beer are the two main currencies where I live, all the shops, tradies etc will take it.

Fair enough, but a few people did ask the question as they were obviously interested & wanted to know. It doesn't matter what equipment was used. It doesn't have to turn all ugly & doesn't have to go any further than what gear you were using, unless you have something to hide. You hadn't answered them which is why I made mention of a NF coil for the Zed. Simon made mention of a white coil in a couple of your pics, which I hadn't seen, of which you then obviously edited out. I thought that was a bit odd, like you do have something to hide. We have all heard about NF & a supposed coil they are working on for the Zed & it could well be that you may have been trialing it.
Weather it was the Zed & ML 14" coil or an X coil or NF coil....it doesn't matter, does it? It is just a detector & coil finding gold which it why we are all here. People are always going to wonder what gear was used just out of interest when you show a post of gold you have found. Most people share that info or have photos showing it. You seem to have gone to great lengths to conceal it. I just find that all a bit weird & sure others do as well.
Nice gold too by the way.
Good luck out there
JW 🤠
This is why I don’t post any more, can’t have a thread without someone trying to make it about X coils 🙄.
It was clearly stated he didn’t want this to be about coils but you blokes just can’t help yourself.
-
Minelab website clearly states the 14” coil is meant be waterproof, bit rough being a smart ass and telling him told you so for something the machine is meant to do.

But I don't live in NSW - I live in Victoria 😉
Murray Cod season opens in about 2 weeks. Hopefully it is more successful than my gold season has been.
The Tuena thing - enough gold 'anomalies' to extend to drilling. Sounds good but too deep for a 'tector - even the mighty Zed!
Hope you're doing well Mitchel 👍
Not too deep there, I have detected loads of nuggets around the Tuena/Trunkey area. A friend of mine even panned a 7g piece one day! It’s a great camping and prospecting area 👍

Fred may need some sleeping 'help' to make the trip! That bush requires a lot of planning and equipment.
Did Paul leave anything behind? haha
Paul left enough gear behind to run a tour 🙄, I need to build a bigger shed to put my stuff in.
Quick Air Test Of GPX 6000

I don’t think it’s intentionally dumbed down. It seems to be a 5k with extra timings, and a great new design. But as we know the faster sdc timings are highly unlikely to give depth on big bits, those timings really excel on species and funky shaped bits.
When I’m pushing I will give it a good testing on big bits vs the 5k, but I would be expecting very similar results.
