The key to good pictures is location and location.👍
-
TREAS Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !👍

Some nice finds ,,,,and GOLD too !
All meteorites are just cool , and also alien space invaders that we get to capture .
Looks like you had some company out there .....🥸
I bet the goat was tough to dig up , and what was the target ID on the turtle ?😁
-
The price would of course reflect whether it works as intended or not 😏
It might just surround you with dogs......awooooooooooooooo😳
And WHO let those dogs out ?
-
Your Mia is gonna be big fer sure!

Terrific find !
I think that's a gold whistle . Blow it while detecting and all the gold will come to the surface.
If that doesn't work ,second guess is it MUST be the VonTrapp whistle from the Sound Of Music !
"The Hills Are Alive............"(with the sound of detectors?)

I found a 4 hole brass button several years ago that I didn't think was very old but have since used it to replace a lost button.
I think if I found any that old that were still whole I would want to re use them on a shirt or jacket . I realize I could lose one ,,,but then I could look for it again !!!!
Wondering if anyone else has done this?
Did the thread break up when you checked it out or was it still strong ?
I do leather stitching by hand sometimes and thread that lasted that long would be something that I'd be interested in learning about as much as the button itself !

Energy savings of 4 holes. mighty efficient hunting !!!🍀
-
Those look very old !
It must be very hard to find a source for them .
Do you have a link ? I couldn't find 'em on Amazon , must be an underground source .....
Are there any special holstering requirements?
I'm worried it could be problematic having one ready for an emergency . 🤔

Bookmatked ! Nice find ! THX for posting !👍

Nothing like a tiny beach that keeps producing targets ! 👍
I'd put it in weekly rotation.
-
Customizing a tool to work better in your application 👍
The bottom of my T Rex has smaller holes like that built in !
I've seen some scoops with huge holes too .
Variety = everybody happy....well , most everybody anyway...

I love it when a plan comes together..

Good beach ! May I have another !

My friend has one of those for his garden that he brings sometimes and now I use a bigger version. (link below) The notched tip is also sharpened.
(The Hori is much lighter on the "Batman Accessory" belt though . But mine is easier to find...) 🙃
GREAT for most lawns , but dry hard clay or rocky soil , not so much. I love it for digging under roots too ! Zero (almost) trace dig holes for targets ~6"/15cm or less on manicured lawn permissions. I use it to make a slit in the turf that I spread apart and excavate with a small plastic trowel onto a piece of heavy plastic . The knife can be used to dig as well. Yes there is pinpointing involved🥸
Easy to dump it all back in the hole by folding the plastic in half push the slit back together. Maybe pack it down with my boot .
I have trouble finding where I dug most of the time.🧐
