Nice mercs  ! I've never seen a spring built like those.The one I have seen is a concrete "bucket" covered with a concrete slab and a chain.......one other spring was just a pipe coming out of a hill. Removed now.

I just got back from playing the bunny at mom's an hour ago..  (I made her some chocolates.)

We watched some of Mary Poppins , she gets tired and we do vids in pieces.

I made it back in time to go up on the rig roof to look for the leak that dripped on my bed all night arrrrrr , er , I mean supercalifragilisticexpialidocious ....I think that's another word for serenity now ! 🖖

I see a lot of sand blowing like that on "my" beaches too. Great shots of it , the rest of the places and the freighters passing by also.   It's all about location location and catching the right light , right?    

Nice pile of finds this hunt .  Shark teeth ARE cool , especially a silver one !

( I rode a freighter out to Nantucket once , gig at the Chicken Box ! They didn't book our equipment truck on the ferry so I caught a freighter outta Woods Hole ,,,,Arrrrrrrr in the winter and in the dark ! Th' fleet was IN !)

Sounds like I'll try to get it if it's cheap enough (and works) it will be a great replacement for my old Radio Shack / Micronta "B Hunter" backup  . I like old trons. And guess I am one too.

Also thinking of showing her how to use it and encouraging her to try detecting .  

If anyone here is in love with them , maybe I could make your dream come true ..

IIRC those Invenios were $10K when I was looking at detectors a couple years back...I got the Nox.

Couldn't imagine it was 10x better. 

$5K price now shows orhers didn't think it was that much better either ?

I've got to ask , how many hunts before you wear out the digger ?

I've seen that picture at almost every outdoor show I did!    Except for the symphony gigs in my early days...                  Promoters are usually on the hook for cleanups like that. Good timing on your hunt !

I talked to a lady that said she had some old detectors in her barn., she thought one was a Whites...so I asked which one.

She sent me this so far, so I thought somebody here must know what it was. And if it was worth getting.

I'm re-doing my velcro now. 😏

I tried running the wire straight down the shaft as I hate coiling wire up tight.(repeating  like to switch out coils really shortens their lifespan) .but nobody ever called me tall so there was a LOT of extra cable left to deal with up top !

I wrap it around the shaft to take up the slack now 👍, oh well....

Oh BTW , taping coax cable , then coiling it up too,,,,,,eventually ,,,bad idea .

( Learned taping many mic wires together instead of buying a stage snake !)
