Somewhere on that beach is a gold ring with your name on it.....all you have to do is wear your lucky undies !
OK , and pass the coil over it.
-
I've already seen a few YT vids of that couple JP . Subscribed after the first one .
I like the looks of the area they are in , like the look of their camp too.
Sorry to hear about their dog, that always sucks.
-
A+B had an interesting texture. "Golden Hummingbird Nest" ?
-
I was just thinking that !
And if there's enough of them , the price may be VERY good.......

What were the settings on the 800 for that "find of the year"????????? (I think mine might not be working right)

Lots of interesting theory going on in that circuit VL.
You have promising future career implementing those ideas !
The ground scheme is brilliant !

Pirate treasarrrr is always good !

Post up any questions you have .

Plz send mating pair immediately , will send pair of rare gold eating wild turkeys in return mail.......(Disclosure : Not all turkey's in Maine have been vaccinated against Covid 19 yet ....so don't , I repeat , DON'T eat them !)

I'm very impressed with the coil , the mounting ears look VERY durable and the plywood should make it lighter under water.......
Any idea when we can get on the pre order list ? (e bay pricing plz) .....
Definitely will be a challenge for ML to try to beat....

Welcome aboard Sapper !
The Equinox is a lot of detector in one unit , start out with the great presets and learn to adjust it as you follow along here.
What types of things do you want to look for and where are you hoping to look ? That will give us something to narrow in on . Ask any specific questions too. And join in on anything you would like to comment on.
There is a LOT of accumulated knowledge here (you already hit the jackpot when you signed up)! While you wait for more responses there are lots of good info here already.
Steve's Guides is a good place to start. When you finish there you'll already know a ton of the basics and some not not so basic too.
There is also a sub forum to the Minelab forum all about Equinox.

I've only been here since last fall and I'm still catching up with all of the previous postings on all the forums .

Funny how they never upped the content again,,,,guess planning for other wars got that idea dropped .......
(A toll road was built here in Maine when I was a kid , I remember the toll was supposed to go away when the road was paid off ,,,60 years later the tolls are still going up ! LOL )

Times can vary greatly subject to things like events , weather and tides.
Wet weather provides some increase in depth sometimes but isn't the best for making the hole disappear ! Except on a beach.

I think I covered that somewhere ?? (more than one thing ID as same # ) Def is an issue ! So much variation in ID #s with the same object (IE: pulltabs in various states of decay or mutilation.....)
I have no doubt there is a serious amount of processing implemented to convert RX signals to target ID #s , it's probably at the limit of tech (or $ costs) or now) but tron world is always progressing so time will change things as it always has .
There are analyzers that are accurate to 1 Hz but cost and size may be an issue ?
(Hard to know what might be released as a phone type app in the future but I 'm not impressed with the ones I have tried out compared to my "old school " units.)
Maybe the ML (or other) team can make this happen , the tech is already existing (I got my 1st spec analyzer in the early 80s) , just need to code it into the software ??? As always , it sounds easy but may not be the case in reality........ The human interface is still required to play the detection game IMO , but we sure are a long way from that old Rat Shack detector in my closet.

hmmmmmmmmmmm.
So , did they plan the 6000 before the 7000 was released??

On training ears to ID frequency of notes....................
If anyone has a piano (cheapies at Goodwill etc.?) You can find the note with it and compare to a chart that you can download

Florida Son
Thx for pointing out the use a spectrum analyzer could have for the hearing impaired.
I hadn't thought of that angle. It could make a huge difference for you !
If you try using one please post how you like it.
If you need any help post that too.
We're all in this together...........

I guess you should go back on that hill. Go slow and easy when you get there. Bring a box .
