  1. Thank you! In the red dirt last week bullets were hitting at -30 I plan to dig all for that reason. I hope I find some deep targets. πŸ™‚ good luck at the div!
  2. Yes, they will be planting here as well! I look forward to seeing what this machine will do in the water! I like to dig relics. Not a beach hunter.
  3. Thank you!! Nice!!! I appreciate the help!! πŸ™‚
  4. Hmmm....maybe?? I am in Southeast VA. Near Suffolk.
  5. I am really starting to love this machine! In the soft sandy soil of Virginia today we hit a colonial field that I have been in with my deus, others were there with the minelabs and garrett’s. I was hearing the good tones in the iron and digging brass, 1700’s buttons and other colonial pieces! Last week this machine was doing well in the red dirt in Northern VA. Its a keeper!
  6. Just so we are all on the same page. I'm not a guy.... lol. Thanks all for the help!
  7. Testing the Tarsacci in the red dirt of VA. I followed a GPX and I thought the Tarsacci did well!! It heard the targets and ran well in that soil! I found 3 bullets and some brass. Next week will be testing it again, this time a 3 day hunt in the red dirt! Thanks to all that helped me! πŸ™‚
  8. I am used to the DEUS and different programs.....Default settings....is there such a thing with the Tarsacci? I now know what I have to do in the red dirt, kind of πŸ™‚ but what settings would I use in the soft sandy soil of this part of VA for relic hunting? Question 2, the pinpoint mode comes up with VDI numbers, is there a scale of what they mean?? I saw a video indicating that they could refer to the depth of the target? Thanks for the help!
  9. Just wanted to update the post, I swung in the hot soil of Culpeper yesterday. It wasn’t bad. 3 bullets, and some brass, not deep targets. It did ok I think, it was quiet! It heard some deep lead that the GPX was hearing as well! I like the machine. The GB of the salt was spot on, that helped alot!! Thanks again!!
  10. LOL. Thats funny!! Thank you for the reply! I tried the deus up there a few months ago, it was a no go. I have used the deus for the last 7 years in the nice sandy soil in this area. I love that machine!! I recently purchased a Garrett ATX for the red dirt in Northern VA. I like that machine as well, but its a beast to swing!! I am very impressed with the Tarsacci, I swung it for a few hours the other day. I think they did a great job on putting this machine together. I will be swinging tomorrow in the red dirt of Culpeper, I will for sure let you know how it goes, thanks again for the help!!
  11. Hi Keith. I am testing the MDT tomorrow in the red dirt of Culpeper VA. In a field that has produced plenty of CW relics. No VLF machine has worked there. I will be following a GPX. But wondering what would you set the MDT at for this soil?
  12. Thank you all for the help. I'll check out Amazon for the part I need :)
  13. Hi. Just received the mdt 8000. Would love to hook up the garret z link. Which adapter do you all use if you use the wireless with the tarsacci? And, any suggestions for the settings in red dirt?? Thanks in advance!
