Nice finds. Looks like you have some hot spots to hunt. Be careful where you step.

The higher the frequency the less depth but more sensitive to tiny gold. So makes sense to use lower frequency hunting for gold rings.

I checked the setting in Goldfield and they were all wrong. It was in 20khz and C disc at 10. Switched to M and tested with A disc and all was well. Goldfield is better than Park on the jewelry.

The gold I used in the air test is in the photo.

Park setting I used: M2, Recovery 3, Iron filter 1, Stability 4, C disc with nails notched and everything else is open. I like digging iron relics.

Park is the best performer on tiny gold jewelry with the Legend. Goldfield should perform as well on the tiny gold jewelry but it doesn't. Any ideas why. Or is it designed just nugget hunting.

Great hunt. Nice silver find. Try M2. It separates in iron a lot better. Iron bias 1, Stability 4. Tone break 8-9. Recovery 2 or 3. It still has incredible iron separation.

Let me know if you have any false hits on iron.

My Legend is set up to dig iron relics. Using disc C. I just notched nails and everything else is open. So I get hits on iron relics that hit below nails and I can decide if I want to dig it or not. I'm still snowed in so I haven't been able to use this setting. If there is false hits in iron I'm hoping with this setting there will be no false hits.

If I had the Manticore I would try that too just notching nails.

You do have a lot of stuff where you hunt. Nice silver. The Manticore did a good job.
