Is that your heated gloves on your detector?

Nice saving the turtle. Dogs can be a problem sometimes. I've never had one come at while detecting.

I used to ride my bicycle 20 miles a day and more on the weekends. Sometimes a big dog would come running at me and I would jump off on the other side of the bike and keep it between me and dog. It's a little scarry have a big dog coming at you on a bike. Other times little dogs will be pulling on the end of my pants and I would be laughing at them.

Button looks like a Navy button. I say real. The bracelet is silver. I'm going to say the ring is gold. It looks different then the silver bracelet next to it.

Manticore is doing a great job. If Minelab fixes the iron false problem I'll probably get one.

Sovereign is one of best detectors. It's to bad Minelab didn't pursue that line. It has the best audio of any detector.

A good hunt. There is more there. Can you hunt on state land? You could look for cellar holes to hunt. In the spring where ever you see lilac bushes something was probably there.

I don't know how well the Orx it is on an ocean beach. The Legend will work great on an ocean. They are both great on tiny gold and go deep on gold rings.

The Orx is very light. The 9" hf coil sweeps thru the water nice. I tested it on a small 14k gold ring buried in the sand and it was hitting at 14". I didn't try deeper. I haven't noticed false hits in iron areas with it either.

The Legend 11" coil will be harder to sweep in the water but there is the 6x9.5 and 9x11 coils that will sweep better in the water. I haven't tested this one on a gold ring in the sand. I will test it this spring. I expect it to hit deep on gold rings too.

They will both work very well water hunting.

If it had 40 khz I would probably get it. 

It looks much nicer with the antenna wire inside the shaft. I'm surprised Xp didn't do that.
