  1. When did you first start detecting?Have you set up similiar test parameters? What are your results? Thaks.
  2. Love the WM6 but I got sevral amazon gift cards over the holidays that cut the price. Nice.
  3. I lost my wife after 41 years of marriage. Found her later in the shoe department at Bloomingdales.πŸ˜‚
  4. . I do not intend to offend these folks who do this. The companies they test for do not seem to mind. I have been asked back in the day to test several companies' offerings. Never once did it occur to me to try this. I live near Culpeper Virginia with some of the worst soil you can find. Virginia also has saltwater beaches and low mineral soil east of Interstate 95. I guess I was more interested in which detectors won the "Triple Crown".πŸ™ƒ
  5. Never. Why may you ask? Because all my "Bunkoh" is in the bank. Bunkoh. That sounds old school to me.
  6. An elevated block of wood next to a coin with nails all around. Somebody please tell me what I don't understand!πŸ™ƒ
  7. The manual does not help. But I love the detector.
  8. Looks like I should have mine shipped 1/4/24. A possible change to the detector after a suggestion was made. Wow! Entering m my 55th year detecting, and "Chics" still dig me. Sweet. πŸ™ƒ Happy New Year everyone. George Tex Kinsey.
  9. It will be a while before I have mine for hunting some older promising Colonial and Civil War sites with my focus on deeper big brass and trash pits.
  10. In regards to inquiries I received today about our new #ABYSS detector - here are some clarifications, what was sent to our dealers today too. #ABYSS is typical relic hunting unit. As you already know - the device work on 5kHz frequency which makes it easier to find large, deep-buried targets. But as you can see from the first video we published yesterday its depth and for large coins is more than good. The #ABYSS don't have all metal and silent discrimination mode under the presumption that deep targets may sometimes not give accurate information about the type of metal, which would lead to missing valuable objects. #ABYSS is very easy to use thanks to only its four controls. At the same time it's a device really for experienced searchers who are primarily interested in relic hunting. Π’his is not a device for hobby seekers who spend a few hours for pleasure on the beach or on metal detectors meeting. Tomorrow movie for discrimination. From Deep Tech. A dedicated Relic Machine.
  11. The words gone mad! But a guy who owns"17 detectors" can't be all bad. πŸ™ƒ
  12. No but my friend let me take a Detech Relic Striker to play with.
  13. Just added two more like new. Fisher F5 and the one I have longed for. Fisher I.D. Edge. I had both. The F5 was good in my soil to 8 inches. The best Interface I have used. The Edge found many small pewter buttons and an I.D. of-2. Nice.
  14. I only dig colonial permissions. Large cents and Spanish Reales is what I will find. Remember to say no to Mercury Dimes.
