i live in northern nevada where is your detector shop at? do you hunt mainly rye patch? I live east of winnemucca. if you ever come out this way i wouldnt mind meeting up and swinging a detector with ya , i have 3 detectors that i aquired after my grandpas passing.

i love living in nevada but it is no where near in comparison to the placer gold prospecting in california. it is painstakingly hard to find a placer area here in the state theat is not blanket claimed for lode deposits by large mining companies. It is actually frustrating that a small scale miner cannot even get a hold of placer ground due to the greedy nature of large mining companies. im confident that it is out there it is just blanket claimed everywhere.
