You could be on to something there. Marketing often mimics some aspect of Engineering. At one time we had Vortex Combustion touted & advertised on small black Chevrolet engines due to the Intake manifold plenum & Cylinder head combustion chamber design.

Long Press Noise Cancel should be a very welcome addition.

Yes, I have been caught. An unauthorized performance modified detector was used in all my videos. White highlight on the UI buttons, scored & highlighted index marks on the shafts, Velcro pile liner in the arm cuff, and the most egregious, a 20 gauge Winchester AA shot shell hull covering the auxiliary battery connector. I will have to start using Photo Shop to blend in.🙃

I'm surprised that the Legend coils won't work for the Score series. That would have been a win-win.

I'm disappointed that Nokta does not intend to make the 6"/15cm coil for the Score series. It is a handy size.

George-----Is that on the Triple Score as well?
Nokta's website states the dt/deep target is included on the Triple Score already.

@Digalicious That is about where I am also at this point. From my observations & understanding, both bE and dt are focused on separation of the target from the Ground response. bE as a Motion based All Metal mode basis, dt as a Motion based Tone ID/Disc mode. The bE often gives stronger audio than dt, but dt gives more audio intelligence using the available tone bin options. Two different ways to skin a cat. Either way, V1.15 is a large step up in performance on difficult targets/terrain. It is more evident/useful to me working in my mineralized red dirt sites.

Welcome to the hobby & this forum from the red dirt of East Texas. It sure sounds like you are heading in the right direction, eyes & ears wide open, learning as you go. Enjoy.

In response to some questions about the new V1.15 bE Beast Mode performance on fringe depth targets, I ran it over some of my deep targets in my mild ground test bed. I felt no need to bury any fresh fringe deep targets as several I already have are 5+ years in the ground. The previous video I posted only concentrated on targets in my Mineralized test bed.

Nokta has added a Patent section in the descriptions of the Legend & Score series. Listed under this section is "Asynchronous Method for Sampling Signals in Metal Detectors".
This obviously pertains to the new bE & Relic modes.
Interesting.

That’s just a standard response. They left the door open to take care of customers who haven’t done something to obviously void the warranty.

That shows a very good response. That is certainly interesting magnetic stone.

To add to the mix of speculation; DeepTech has said the intend to introduce 2 PI units this year.

That's a neat place with some equally neat finds. Glad the Cpt'n is doing better & able to be out hunting with you all.

Interesting finds. Once you get the button back as clean as possible without loosing details you can wet it & sprinkle dry white chalk on it & gently work it into the lettering. This may help on the faded lettering. Light oil works better than water.

If they just bought the rights to use MD technology from Dimitar for Multi Domain, there wouldn't be a patent for Garrett. I don't know what it is but I'm more interested than I was last week.
That's what I'm hoping for too. What ever they introduce, I also sure hope Garrett has gone to full Tone profile adjustability. That in it self is a huge factor in the performance of a unit being useful in the field.

I don’t think they would feel any need to do that. They are old hands at this.

Interesting topic. Welcome to the Forum from East Texas.

I think today’s SMF tech has really helped reduce the traditional draw backs of coil choice. Larger coils handle bad ground & iron better, smaller coils have better depth than in the Single Frequency past.

There is a need for bad dirt/bad beach performance. It is surely a small segment of the overall market but it compromises a large part of those who are "serious" about detecting. The market is full of very good mid level machines, but there is only a handful of effective higher end machines for difficult conditions. Those of us who hunt these conditions will pay a reasonable amount extra if the performance is there. The statement from Garrett that the new Vortex will be a family line of detectors is encouraging. High end performance line and sibling mid level line. This concept is what Nokta & Minelab have been expanding on.
-
If it is some type of Multi Domain platform it should be excellent in mineralized dirt and salt beach/conductive soil conditions.
The Tarsacci MDT (multi domain technology) gives impressive performance in these condition, you just have to be able to figure out what the machine is telling you with it's poor audio profiles. And this is all based on first figuring out how to set up the machine to hunt based on the lack of good user information available.
So, I hope the Vortex will be a real break through but Garrett will have to get past insisting their top of the line machine be their traditional practically turn on & go KISS. They will need to step out of the poke along lane into the fast passing lane with this one to be competitive at the top. I hope they do so and floor it. A serious unit that is capable of hunting in difficult conditions with performance to match what is already available from others is what I am hoping for. You can now get this type of performance starting at $500. I don't think the Vortex will be that low. If it performs it doesn't have to be, but it better perform at the top. I don't think I will be much interested in a SMF AT Max in an Apex housing.

Excellent. Day time Owls are always an interesting sight. When I set up to varmint call, the first customer is usually an owl or hawk, then the crows.

Yes, a 9"/23cm Round coil would be an ideal addition. I still prefer the 11"/28cm LG 28 Round coil over the LG30 Elliptical. The LG 28 separates as well for all practical purposes & is deeper though a bit heavier. I still would like to see some SMF Concentric coils, especially a small 6"/15cm Round one.
