I woild like to put a crew of hard working people togerher to work Jed's site once again. It is a true treasure hunt.
I would possibly be interested if it's not too far from Sierra or Sacramento County.

I'm really enjoying reading the journal entry's and look forward to the next. I spend quite a bit of time up the mountains of the Northern Mother Load also. I does tend to get a bit spooky at night when out there alone!
If you don't mind, just curious what County all this takes place?

Hey that's mine!!!

Holy crap you have a great place to detect!

Sweet vid! I enjoyed watching it and it sure made me want to get out and find some gold.

You have the g-spot, the pocket rocket, the swing thingy...What's next Doc? I feel like I'm at somewhere other than a prospecting supply store!

What a great adventure that many of us could never do. Looking forward to hearing more about it.

It's almost summer, they're closed for the season. Only people that are available to talk to now are the web sales people selling passes for next season.
I'm not so sure about the TV Show thing, I'll marinate on it. She might just be off work and not getting the stuff as shes not checking work emails while off work. I'll give it another week or so before taking any next steps 🙂
My metal detector eyes found a ring over winter sitting in the snow near the tables at a restaurant there, I guess someone took their ski gloves off and the ring went with it, my wife encouraged me to hand it into the lost and found people at the ski field. They didn't seem overly trustworthy and I watched and even 10 minutes after we handed it in the person hadn't taken it out the back where the lost stuff goes, they'd kept it in their hand or something so that ring is probably theirs now. Most the employees are backpackers from overseas or people that want the never ending winter and move between northern hemisphere and southern hemisphere ski fields for work and play in one.
I had the same experience turning in a gold ring that I found. Guaranteed the lady kept it for herself and never even put it into the lost and found.
Learned my lesson and now when I find something I leave my name and phone number and if the person that lost it comes looking they can call me and describe what they lost. If they can do that I'll give it back to them.

Hey Joe,
Great job! Is that some kind of police/Sheriff badge in the pile?
You know your areas, so go with the one that you think holds the most promise! If you can pull of two locations, even better! But that sounds like alot of gearing up/down for one day! Safety first always!! Good luck, wherever you decide to go!!🍀👍👍
That looks like an old Chuck-E-Cheese token. You could get them with custom letters stamped into them.

Excellent! Very nice. Congrats!

Thanks Art!!! I think I'll order one. Should be good for both the beach and nugget shooting.

I really like the look and size of that hat! Any chance you can post a link to where you purchased it and let me know what size/style and price? Thanks!

My favorite coil size for the GPX series detectors has always been the 9x13 mono coils. That was what I used almost exclusively. Hope they make one for the 6000!

1 customer showed up from TX to get his GPX-6000 and 2 machines went to 2 of my 9 Field Staff Experts. Most of my Staff and I still do not have machines. The GPX-6000 worked so easily and well at finding gold during the training, that other customers interested in one tried it and I think 4 people ended up finding gold with GPX-6000's, which was more nuggets that the GPZ-7000's (which is what I would have expected for Rye Patch). The Equinox 800 with small 6" round coils also did quite well.
The rumor has it a 2nd order of GPX-6000 will be shipping end of next week, so hopefully it's a good size shipment, but honestly, I have no control.
Hope you are right Gerry! I would sure like to get my hands on mine sooner than later for some high country hunts.

The only thing I can say for sure if you are first in line with your money down I’m sure that dealer will take care of you. Anything beyond that is just wishful thinking..
Chuck
I was one of the first to put my money down with a dealer but he won't tell me where I stand in line when he gets them in. I have a feeling he will take care of his regular customers before me since I have only made one purchase from him in the past. If that ends up being the case it will be my last purchase from him or I will get my deposit back and purchase elsewhere.

Thanks Gerry for your service and all you do.

So has anybody received the "CA Suction Dredge Guide" from PLP yet?

Looks good. I always keep a Dewalt mini blower in my truck when traveling on dirt roads. When I get to my cabin and blow the truck off. Since all my tools are Dewalt I have many batteries. Not as compact as the blower you posted but has a lot of power.

I just like finding gold nuggets with a metal detector and can find them with just about any detector. Don't give a rip about all the bs and look forward to banging out a few with a new GPX 6000 if they ever get here.

Your finds are always a lot of fun to read about. Hope they keep on coming out of the ground for you!

Really cool post Peg! That's a lot of shark teeth! How many trips did it take you to find them? What a great way to spend the winter months. My wife and daughter want to look at Florida to escape California...
