  1. I bought 2 coils from Rob about a month ago, a 12x7 xceed and a 10x5 goldhawk for the 6000, love them both.
  2. Can somebody help a 84 year old guy with some feed back, a little confused. Most people seem to like the 12x7 on the 6000 better than the stock 11" for various reasons, but I understand the 12x7 is not hot out to the edge of the coil, so it would not be good in a rocky or brushy situation. Seems like a deal breaker it your area is primarily rocks or brush. Am I missing something here? Also is the 12x7 better in hotter ground better than the 11"? So am I thinking right please? Thanks for any feedback
  3. I hunt a area loaded with hot rocks with the 6000, the 11" see's targets every where. I can tame it down and make it work but I have to listen carefully. If I put the 14" DD on, most of the hot rocks disappear and find it more comfortable to listen to and not as tiring mentally. The sensitivity to small gold is amazing having found gold down to 11/2 grains as I can run this coil at maximum sensitivity. I do find that only the left side of the coil will signal gold even to the edge of the coil, so I use left side up against rocks etc. Not sure how each would perform at depth, but depth isn't a issue in this spot. Any comments would be appreciated.
