More than one dealer told me they would receive no more than 2 per dealer.
-
Everyone I saw has them for 251 and most no tax or shipping. I found mine a few weeks ago when they were even more scarce than now and did pay shipping, which I was willing to pay to get my hands on the coil. The bigger dealers have no tax and free shipping, but less stock.

Nice haul! Couple of questions for you. How did you transport the Manti on the plane? What coil were you using? I am going to Grand Cayman late next month and am thinking of bringing the Manti. Cheers!

I purchased an M8 a couple of weeks ago. At that time I reached out to maybe 35 dealers and only 2 had the coil in stock. Since then, maybe 8 of these dealers have reached out to me and said they had M8s in stock.

Great! Glad to be able to help. I emailed him back and he said he posted on Facebook that he had M8s and sold out overnight.

I received an email from thegolddigger.com He just got four M8s in stock. I have never ordered anything from this place.

The coil arrived on Thursday, but pretty rainy here, so haven't used it yet. I did some air testing and it works well.

Lol, for sure. Like making a tiny house or something along those lines.

Greetings gents. I will be heading to Grand Cayman at the end of March and was wondering if anyone had experience MDing there. I have been there a number of times, but am thinking of bringing my Manti on the trip this time. I also frequent Aruba and have never MD there as well.

Well after a bit of work I was able to score an M8 for the Manti. I found a list of all the detector dealers in the US and emailed 35 of them. Half replied within 24 hours or so and two had a coil in stock. I paid more than I would have if I had waited for a backorder to get filled, but I got tired of waiting. A couple of the dealers told me ML is only sending two coils at a time to a dealer. Good luck if you are hunting.

I am going to purchase the WM-09 for the summer heat, but do not need waterproof. Any suggestion for ear buds that are not waterproof? -
How do you feel about the weight of the 15"? I have a CTX 3030 with the 17" and its a beast, but I have the ML harness to help with that.

Howdy. New forum user here, but not new to metal detecting. I remember going detecting with my grandfather back around 1970. He had a Garrett something or other. That inspired me to get a Garrett as my first detector in 1999, a GTI 2500. Got quite a bit of use out of that. Moved on to a Minelab Explorer SE. The learning curve was quite long, but I really liked that detector. All of that time was spent detecting in Upper Mi and Wisconsin. Didn't really detect much from 2010 till Covid hit. I was traveling extensively and was flying 30 weeks a year. Now when Covid hit I got the detecting bug again. Bought a CTX 3030 and used it maybe 25 hours. Started flying again. Then I took a new job about a year and a half ago, less flying more driving. Got the bug once again and bought a Manticore. I am using both the Manticore and 3030 right now. Totally different machines, but I like them both for different reasons. I still have the SE as well. Right now I am spending more time with the Manti. Anyway, I have found the forums here to be quite helpful as I learn both the newer ML detectors, so I decided to join. Cheers.

That is an awesome looking detector. Looks like something we might have seen in the "Lost in Space" TV series.

Quarters Coming In At 2 In All Terrain General.

Interesting. Seems like the repair shop jumped on assessing the problem rather quickly. -
I have been looking for an M8 for quite awhile now.

Correction, WOULD NOT HESITATE to to order from Steve. Need more java this morning.

I have used Steve G for both my CTX 3030 and Manti lower rods. I only bought one lower rod for the M8 coil that has yet to arrive, but the lower rod quality looks great. http://www.stevesdetectorrods.com/ Steve is great to work with and is an excellent communicator. I would hesitate to order from him. Yooper
