  1. Thanks. I'm not sure I have the cable that came with it (might have repurposed it LOL) - I'll get a replacement and try that...meanwhile I basically use the remote controller 100% and the WS6 is really just for my headphones - so I am updated with the controller...
  2. Hi. Thanks for taking the time to comment. USB ports are 2 and 3 - I checked multiple ports. I have a single cable cord that I used - it charges the WS6 fine. I'll try to find another cable with that old school connector - all the new one's I have are the micro size...
  3. Hi. I just updated my remote from 6 to .71 - all good. Then i tried to update a fully charged WS6. When I get to the Update screen it goes "dim" and never starts the update. I'm using the single USB cord and a correct and working port on my computer. The cord charges the WS6 fine. Any help would be appreciated? Yes I'm on the WS6 side in the software.
  4. No - I hit that within 15 mins of stepping onto the wet sand right after I hung up with you...total hunt was about 2 hours.
  5. Shawn Pomrenke came along to the beach for the ride. Third time out - rang up a solid 46. About 2 scoops with my 9" scooper. Stamped Italy 14K - 4.5 grams....NICE!!!! Beach SENS. Sens@97 stable as shit. Disc 0 - less false spill over - you hear the iron. Reactivity .5. Salt 8. Iron vol 3. Audio Resp 7. Will play with pitch for the iron - make it lower...
  6. Running hot was extremely stable. More so than my EQ!
  7. 2 hour outing wet sand beach. Most 2-3 scoops down. When she locks on - she locks on...Quarters 94, Dimes 91, Nickles 76.
  8. The antenna cable is somewhat like headhone cable. I just rotated the coil all the way flat and then 90 degree straight up - the cable hardly even moved. I really see zero issues. It's the same thing when you have a wired coil - you leave some room in the cable for the coil to rotate...
  9. 1. It is possible they didn't think of it. 2. They used many of the tooling from the Deus 1 - and they didn't even have an antenna for that - you had to make your own. 3. When I take it out to the beach - I'll see if there are any issues - if so, no problem to just go back to the wrap around...
  10. I just played around with the bottom - the way it feeds up the lower shaft - it doesn't touch the sides of the hollow shaft opening - I really don't see any issues...and...it's a cheap replacement if needed it has nothing to do with the coil...
  11. I didn't see that...I think some of the UK boys copied me as soon as they saw it posted on the FB forums...
  12. 1. The cable has the ability to get longer by pulling it out or shorter by pushing it in - no problem there. 2. Good point - but it really isn't moving much if at all - also the cable insulator is pretty solid. I'm thinking a dab of hot glue in that hole to isolate movement and keep water out solves everything...
  13. Joe - that's a separate little piece - so it's replaceable. The antenna wire is no different than a wired coil cable relative to snagging...right?
  14. Why on earth would there be warranty issues? The connector piece - it's a replaceable piece of plastic that you can buy...
