Well put Steve. if only the knockers would realise that the testers would not put there integrity on the line to promote a product that did not live up to expectations and the damage they have done attacking that integrity. my only complaint so far is the depth of the bloody holes.

I had just dug up a specie last week that went 85 g with 4.5 grams of gold in it and one of the other guys came over for a look. the interference started coming through so I did an autotune to let him in closer and was just re doing the ground balance procedure when a definite signal came through. how it came through with the coil doing that speed is beyond me but after I completed the balance I went back to where the signal came from and out came a very small steel sliver off a dozer blade. that area had produced a specimen that went 20 oz with about 4 oz of gold from 16" in enhanced with the 5000. the smaller specie and the steel were within 10 feet of the original find and I have no doubt I had covered the area numerous times with the 5000 trying to find the big boys father.

My detecting partner and I have both upgraded to the 7000 each and we still have a 5000 and a 2300 and a 705 for trashy areas. we have found enough already to cover the cost of one 7000 and now that some information on how to get the best out of this new technology is coming through we are looking at a very good year. I am sorry if I cant help with any settings yet as so far with our areas being so different we are finding that the settings are not consistent and something as simple as the new ground balance technique will mean we can most likely go back over the same ground and run it even hotter.
