Do you not go in Beach modes at all?

I guess what throws me off on the hexagon usage is that wouldn't square ⬛ cuts also have the same benefit - spacing apart, etc.

I know this is a much heated debate - but what are your guys thoughts/experience on scoop slots - any preferences or situations you'd definitely want one versus another? And are the newer styles better or just hype? - Round (the oldest tech) - Hexagon (the most widely used new type now) - Slotted (just starting to see these added to scoops usually in the rear)

Wow very nice. The dark mines are a bit scary - but did you go into any, even just a little? I can't see the terrain from your pictures, but if there's any low points near those mines I'd totally be sweeping those spots.

I wonder if they can make a wider mouth design. Would definitely cover a missing niche in the scoop market then.

If anyone was curious, MineLab's response on the 4khz add was a very simple one: " The 4kHz single frequency option was added as we had a large number of customers in South East Asia that were trying to detect large stacks of silver coins (stacks of silver coins are buried all throughout S.E Asia) Each metal is reactive at a particular frequency, stacks of silver coins are very reactive at 4kHz which is why we added this as an option for customers. If there were stack of silver coins (or large amounts of silver) buried deep in other places in the world the 4kHz single frequency option would be the best single frequency to use. "

As a note, I don't think there's any real way around needing other zlynk accessories (which are costly). But figured I'd ask to see if that's still the case. Thank you.

Just a quick question on the Garrett AT pointers. Is there any value in getting the Z-Lynk version if you don't plan on getting a Garrett detector or the Garrett branded headphones? Like, is the zlynk ability proven to be any more useful these days in 2023 for other generic compatibilities to be worth the extra $20 on models, or no? If it matters any, will be using a ML 700/900 or Nokta Legend with it. Have not gotten any headphones of any type yet. Thank you!

Even to date, in 2023, the same confusion and mixup is all over online still. When I was doing my research, I was glad to see how clearly it was explained on here (especially since the saga continues with 700/900 newer units essentially reigniting those discussions).

Summary from the vid - PP is still in dev/testing, but a "beta" program will be available once it's ready where you can buy a "beta" version for a discount to use and provide feedback. In exchange for that discount price and getting the final build as a replacement once it goes out of beta.

Black sand levels would be low to none. Would be mostly white sand beaches on the East coast of USA. Florida, Carolinas, etc.

Perhaps this a silly question, but if the primary driver from ML was to give users in Asia a "better" frequency for that region, wouldn't we be best to get feedback from someone in Asia or who has used it in Asian soils? Do we have anyone on the forum like that? Also, I echo the comment about asking manufacturer direct. I sent them an email, we'll see if they respond.

Legend (2023 version with carbon fiber and LG30) vs X-Terra Pro vs Nox 700/900 I have reviewed many posts, websites, and videos comparing. What I'd love is more of a subjective view from you gents based on specific usage and preferences. Usage: 2 times per year at a beach focusing on wet sand, surf, and a couple feet in the water. Rest of the year in some old forest type locations or maybe some parks as well. Desired items: Primarily jewelry (rings, necklaces), secondary would be coins. Price consideration: None, pretend all 4 are the same cost. Please do not recommend other detectors, stick to these lot and let me know your thoughts. Both objective and subjective feedback welcome!

I'm making a new pinpointer purchase and just wondered if anyone has heard of recent news on the new Nokta pinpointer dubbed "Accupoint". I saw a flurry of info from last year, Dilek's vids mentioning it, and then maybe at the beginning of this year a few spots talking about how it's in testing. But then kind of a void since then. Anyone have additional scoop? Excited to hear a new PP at least, the current world of PP seems pretty stagnant. Latest was really that Quest XP Max with the on/off magic holster, but I hardly call that a huge step in PP's.

A little birdie told me the new Legend kits should be hitting dealers shortly (this week or next). Anyone able to confirm? Looks like a lot of dealers already sold their old stock. $399 was a killer price.

How do you find the mesh strength? Can you bend it by pushing on it?
